Good scenic location. Lovely property. Family room was quite warm on a hot day with little air circulation but apart for that we had a great stay. Amazing staff and lovely food.

Very poor experience
The location was convenient, but that’s the only positive thing I can say. The hotel staff was beyond rude the entire time, as if our presence was a major annoyance. They made us a dinner reservation at the bar upon check-in, but when we arrived at our appointed time we were turned away and had to drive to Oban for a meal. The car park in back had no access to bring in bags. The bathroom stank of poo. Yuck.

Great little stopover
Nice little hotel in a beautiful location. The glue pot was a great little pub to dine or drink in attached to hotel. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

The pub is nice. The food is not so nice. Rooms are run down. Poor service. For the price you would expect much more.

Very good hotel -could be excellent
Very pleasant hotel. Two minor reservations - the room was rather hot, and the window did not fully open (probably for safety reasons), second the breakfast was only 5/10 - odd diluted fruit juice; no yoghurt or fruit salad; service bit too laid back - no clearing of tables during meal, no asking if we wanted more toast or coffee. All seemed a bit of a struggle. The team should be taken to somewhere where the breakfast content and service are 10/10 - it wouldn't cost much if anything to bring it up to scratch.

Beautiful location right in front of the bay - picturesque! Our room had an amazing view. Two miles from Oban - one straight road into town. Beautifully renovated inn above a pub and restaurant. Good food and wonderful staff. Will return and definitely recommend!

Cute little inn close to Oban with a beautiful estuary view. Fairly basic amenities but fine for just needing a bed to sleep in. Bar on site was nice as was the staff. Breakfast was decent for being included and had options for those that wanted both a heavy breakfast and something lighter.

They were accommodating to our family size and the included breakfast was excellent. Parking was odd with the only available parking at time across the street and felt unsure, but all worked out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable stay in a refurbished hotel
Recently refurbished hotel offered a comfortable stay with new bathrooms and restaurant. Good breakfast options and friendly hotel staff also serving in restaurant and bar in the evenings. £20 charge to bring our dog seemed excessive given nothing offered for the dog in the rooms.
