The room was big and spacious! Nice and clean! However the bathroom is too old with tiles full of cracks and somewhat moldy. Slight faint smell of similar to ammonia and bleach near the toilet and bathroom area. Luckily to bathroom is far away from the beds so it did not bother us. Would be great if they can upgrade their bathroom!
It’s little far from station which is inconvenient if you don’t have car. The stuff don’t have any good information about surrounding tourists attractions. From New Chitose it was too far and expensive for the 4 members.

Very nice staff. Spaceous rooms. Clean rooms. Free coffee. English speaking staff.
Room was really spacious, clean and a bang for the buck! Came with free parking too which was awesome. However, hotel staff could be more clear with the lots that guests could use as parking can be a little confusing especially if there aren't any lots in the main building

Older hotel, but large rooms and tons of space
The staff spoke English. This hotel is older in style, but still very clean and hospitable. My bathroom for example could have used updating as some tiles were superficially cracked, the mirror in the shower was damaged, etc. However, this hotel room offered a balcony and the most room I've ever had in a japanese hotel. I could have had multiple friends over- tons of space. The bathroom was very large as well. There was a personal sauna in my room. (Yes- you read that correctly) They also served free noodles at night. The location is tricky- not near many Obihiro attractions, but most Americans probably go to Obihiro for different reasons. I was driving, and had a car, and there was free parking and so the location deficit did not bother me. There were still restaurants and convenience sores within walking distance.
We stayed for 2 nights as an intermediate location after several days at Shiretoko National Park and before our flight. While it clearly a retrofitted apartment and you can tell that its slightly old, its certainly clean and comfortable and very spacious for packing before our flight. The location was a nice 10-min stroll to the nearby restaurants, bars and small tents (yatai). The atmosphere there was great for grazing and highballs. During the day, we also managed to squeeze in an enjoyable daytrip to Bear Mountain and Tokachigawa Onsen and I do recommend both!
Pleasant place with nice courteous English speaking staff. Hotel also provides free coffee and ramen at lobby. Room is big and thoughtful. Much bigger than the norm size in japan
Nice looking hotel with friendly staff and big rooms that appear to have been recently renovated (quite nice looking, and includes a couch). The bathroom in the room, however, appears to be original. That’s not a problem, it’s just a stark contrast. Huge shower/soaking tub room.
Mostly quiet, comfortable. I’d stay here again.
Note: The hotel parking garage is accessible from the front or the back and is free of charge.
We took a wrong turn on the expressway and arrived at the hotel at nearly 9pm, starving and wondering if we had to go to bed hungry.. Hotel was about a 10-min walk to city center but we were way too beat to go hunting for food at that hour. What a nice surprise we had while checking in, the hotel staff started laying out a table, induction cookers, two pots - one filled with broth, udon noodles, and condiments! Free night snack for guests would start at 9pm!!! Oh how grateful we were that we didn't have to sleep with growling tummies! Trust the Japanese to be thoughtful of guests like us.
We drove to the eastern part Hokkaido to see the red top cranes at the Akan International Crane Centre. They were truly beautiful. And as a bonus, we got to see many hawks flying around trying to steal the food from the cranes.
Staff were very friendly, but could not speak English well. However they managed. to understand our needs. Very helpful.
Lots of food joints nearby.
Room was nice and cosy.
Breakfast was a good spread buffet.
