The Red Roof Inn was perfect in every way except for no hot water in the shower. It was very clean, bed was comfortable, nicely decorated, conveniently located, friendly staff, but no hot water.

Red Roof Inn Ocala

We booked this hotel through a third party app and we checked in after midnight on a Saturday night so this might not have been one of the best rooms in the hotel. There were several long black human hairs on the beds. There was also a slight musty odor from the A/C unit (which is common in Florida). Otherwise the room and most other areas of the hotel were in decent shape.

Traveled from GA to FL once I arrived at the hotel at 2:00am customer service was awful and my room was infected with bugs. I went to go get hotel staff came in to check the room and was basically told that the bugs was dead but if I wanted to change rooms I can… well duhh I want a different room ma’am dahelly!!! I didn’t pay $100+ to sleep uncomfortably with roaches…
