I am utterly shocked and disappointed by the experience my friends and I had at this hotel. We had booked three rooms for ourselves and two other families traveling with us, expecting a smooth and relaxing stay. Instead, what we encountered was nothing short of a nightmare.
To begin with, one of the rooms was not ready at 4:30 PM, which is already an hour and a half past the check-in time. We received a call at 5:30 PM saying the room was finally available, but by then, we were already on an excursion and couldn't return to the hotel. My friend was only able to check in after 10:30 PM—an exhausting end to a long day of travel from Miami.
Upon our arrival, we were horrified to discover that the hotel was infested with roaches. They were everywhere—absolutely everywhere—in the rooms, hallways, even the bedding. The rooms were filthy, with stained linens, broken duvets, and an overall lack of cleanliness. I took pictures and videos of the hotel's disgraceful condition to document this.
The front desk staff, particularly a lady named Patricia, was extremely rude and dismissive when we requested assistance. Not only did she offer no help, but she also made checking out and getting a refund unnecessarily difficult. Two of the families traveling with us were able to book alternative accommodations, but only at a much higher rate, leaving us scrambling for a solution.
