The pluses - hotel is renovated and is in a great location, just steps from the beach. However, we were very disappointed when we had to pay $125 tax for our dog for our 1 night stay. Apparently it was in the “fine print” when I booked on Expedia. We stood at the reception desk for quite some time while the front desk person searched for the information on the booking to show us it was there. Clearly it wasn’t easy to spot. Expedia should better inform customers of significant fees when you specifically search for a pet friendly hotel.

Very clean, friendly, close-to-the-beach hotel. My only issue is the pet pricing policy. Other hotels I've stayed at have a per night fee but SeaLoft has a $125.00 flat rate charge. Stay one night its $125.00, stay a month its $125.00. Not understanding the logic behind this, maybe all the hotels in Ocean City have this policy. Other then that we had a pleasant stay. Undecided if we will stay there again because of the pet policy.

Room was very clean and roomy. The bedroom had a TV but had You-Tube service, no cable. The bed was very comfortable. There was no curtain on the small window in the bedroom to keep the light out. The view of the ocean was excellent for the sunrise.

I loved this place! The room was super clean, spacious and the retro deco was very cute. Two things could be helpful for guests - a guide book letting guests know what the hotel offers and where to find ice machines, etc. Wifi info and a hair dryer. Very nice there was a steamer available which you do not find very often in a hotel.

Retro, Clean, Modern …Right on the Beach-Loved it!
What a great find! I love boutique hotels and this one with its modern retro design steps from the beach was PERFECT! I recommend the top floor for max views and privacy. Very clean and the staff was friendly. I look forward to coming back during the season to experience more!

Great place to stay
While it is end of season there, the staff was very accommodating and helpful to our needs. Night shift front desk was not very knowledgeable but again it was end of season. Day manager took care of every need! House keeping staff was excellent as well. Will definitely recommend.

OC in the fall
This hotel has been completely renovated since winter 2023-2024. Everyone was pleasant and helpful from the time we arrived until we checked out. We definitely will stay again. The location is perfect.

Bed was lumpy and low, chairs were un-comfortable and there was a dog barking for a couple of hours even after a call to the desk. Location for a disabled room seem extremely difficult 2 doors and no guard on steps adjacent the door for safety.

Our stay was ok, when we checked in, we told the manager that the whole charge was to go on my boyfriends credit card, the manager said ok and charged his card. The next morning I noticed i was doubled billed for the first day. Went down and talked to feont desk about it, thought it was cleared up, it wasnt, it took until after we left for it to be cleared up. Also, they need to repkace the shower curtains for ones that actually fit the shower, ours only covered half the shower, and water got all over floor.

My husband and I loved that the hotel was at walking distance from the Convention Center and Seacrest two of the locations we wanted to visit during bike week. We didn't like the fact that the receptionists were not greeting us or any of the guests when we would come and go. The screen door was off track so we couldn't keep the sliding door open. Overall a very nice, clean, and quiet property.

Front desk was pretty curt and rude when I arrived; there were also 3 additional fees I was unaware of when checking in that made my total an additional $170 to what I already paid. Additional fees are expected I guess, but they should be made more obvious in the first place. The staff should be a little kinder and more gentle to this information as well. The place was nice enough, but not the cleanest and there were markings/holes in the wall. The TV system was also not the easiest to figure out while just trying to be on vacation.
