The hotel is right on the boardwalk facing the ocean, located at the midpoint of the boardwalk. The staff was excellent and helped me with check-in and extending my stay. It was a very enjoyable visit.

Nice restaurant on lower level, wish they stayed open longer. Pool was nice but could've been bigger. First day, pool bar was closed. Other days it was open, but didn't have many serving options. Free coffee in the morning was a plus. Great location! Overall, very happy with our stay, and will be returning!

Beds and pillows were not the best. Shower had a curtain that no matter what you did leaked out. It was not as clean as I am used to. Room size for a suite was good. However for a family of 5 they only had 3 table chairs. You did have to ask for plates, utensils and such if planning on using. Also sofa sleeping had no bedding and when asked they did bring it to room quickly. But they had no comforter or extra pillows available. Front desk staff was really sweet, friendly and accommodating. Having a pool is always great after the beach but by the third day it was cloudy and dirty. They did have nice lounge chairs at the pool.

I had two microwaves in my room. I broken one and one that worked. Why keep the broken one? The floors were so dirty. I cleaned my myself. The dirty water was so black. I don’t believe the floors were ever cleaned.

Nice, But Needs Improvements

Suitable for a family of 4, but needs improvements. The room was spacious and clean, but the bathroom not so much. The bathroom is tight, there appeared to be black mold in the upper corner of the ceiling near the mirror, and the bathroom door did not close well. The door seemed too large for the frame and made a loud noise when forcefully closed and opened. The kitchenette had a refrigerator, and microwave, but no built-in sink. A sink would have been useful. The views from the balcony was great. The hotel is right on the boardwalk with access to the beach. We had ocean view and city view. Parking was conveniently located at the hotel, although had to pay separately for it. For the rate, I think parking should be included. Lastly, the bed although comfortable, the sheets were not. The sheets felt rough and grainy. I had to sleep in long pants because the sheets were scratching. Would have been perfect if not for the issues I mentioned.

Nice convenient spot, pricey but everything is in this area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is a disaster especially in the garage underneath. Some people can’t figure out how to park while making it possible for others to also park or be able to back out. People ignore the no smoking signs. There will be sand all over the floor of your room no matter what you do. Housekeeping is only ok, they never give enough towels, and at the pool there are never enough. But just call or visit the front desk and they will give more. The pool bar people sort of stand around all the time. The upstairs cafe was under construction during our stay so we couldn’t try it. The ice cream place is ok but if you get toppings on yours they are really stingy. We didn’t try the kebab place. Overall I would recommend this place, and OC in general, but make sure you are prepared to spend money and deal with crowds. All the restaurants in the area are high priced. If you drive to get a meal, when you return, you will be once again searching for parking. The walk from 14th to the end of the boardwalk in either direction is about a mile.

First time, last time stay. We waited 6 hours to get a room, was finally called to get in after 4 pm check in to find our room dirty and unmade beds. Staff was rude. Nobody came to clean our rooms or bring us towels. We went to the staff twice about it and still nothing. We were charged 120.00 to park in their parking lot. The “swim up bar” was a run down concession stand that sold 4.00 cans of soda. Website says free chairs for all guests. No- you get two chairs. So our kids could not get chairs or we were charged 30.00 a day. Lost plumbing while we were there with no communication. Just went to the bathroom and went to wash my hands and discover water was turned off. Several hours into it came back on. Sprinkler system malfunctioned and we had to evacuate the property first day. Parking garage was flooded. Hallway smelled like weed and urine. This hotel was the place to be back in its prime. Not anymore! Not worth the 350.00 a night they charge.
