this hotel even being older it is still very clean,staff was all friendly and quick to accomadate you. as you go in and out of hotel they greet you and welcome you back in. it is older but very clean. only problem i found was some misleading photos of room i thought i reserved and the pools are also smaller and less handicap accessible then thought. there webpage does need upating- mislleading of resteraunts/bars, room service - i discussed with hotel and they said trying to keep up with the compatition and i get it, all the new bigger hotels going up- shows the day in age. newer isn't always better. already planning next year trip- as long as hurricane dont wipe them out- praying the commander will survive-

The room wasn’t ready for check-in, and I was given a different room. However, the room provided was not clean. The pillows were not fresh and had stains and mold marks. The floors were dirty, and the sides of the beds were full of trash. I have taken pictures and will be posting them in my review of this hotel online. It is not worth paying almost $700 per night. I do not recommend this hotel.

This property has it all. Close to all activities and easy parking. Would stay here again. We visited the outdoor pool 1 day and the water was filled with sand and did not feel clean. It may have been a one off situation. Still rate 5 stars!

We stay at this hotel every year when we vacation in Ocean City, but this year was disappointing. The staff were unfriendly, there were no longer free bikes available for guests, the pizza place has closed, and our room was outdated and seemed like it had only received a quick fix. Our balcony door would only latch if we used the bolt lock on the door. I'm really disappointed with our trip this time. Additionally, the indoor pool needs some tender loving care.

Great location on boardwalk. Steps from the beach where you are provided free chairs. Very clean, large rooms. Staff was excellent and extremely accommodating.

I always take into consideration that the old hotels on the boardwalk will have some undesirable things but I attempt to look the other way to enjoy the conveniences being in the beach and boardwalk. However, the mold and mildew odor was very unpleasant AND we even had blothches of it on our ceiling. Other family members rooms did not have the ceiling issue, but certainly had the odor. The staff were pleasant and the pool was nice.

Our complaint is the uncomfortable beds and dirty floors in our suite. They had been swept but obviously not mopped down. The best part is being right on the boardwalk and walkable to food, beach and entertainment.
