The room was large and spacious. The bed was comfortable. There was a very thin covering, insufficient when it was cold. It was difficult to make the room dark. The bathroom was dirty. The carpet was dirty. The towels in the bathroom have seen better days. I stayed a second night and it would have been nice if there had spontaneously refreshed the sachets of coffee.

Very convenient to beach and boardwalk. My room did not have blankets on the bed so we had to request and we got them right away. Phone did not work. People were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Overall loved our stayand will return again.

The room had a smell, the AC made a continuous annoying noise. The sq ft of the rooms were just enough for no more than 2 people. It was only a 2 night stay so it was tolerable. It was not anything up to date. It was nice to walk right out to the beach. The pool was kept clean.

If you’re looking for a nice reliable cheap place, this is the spot. The room was nice and spacious and bathroom was decent. Parking was good as they have parking in front, to the side, and behind the building so you don’t have to worry about parking. Beach is right behind the building so it’s not a long walk. Has surrounding places such as Happy Jack (would we recommend it as a breakfast place), a 7/11, and many more within walking distance. Only complains I have is the bathroom and how loud it can be. We had some problems with the toilet and the water for the shower would go from cold to hot in seconds. As for the noise, we could hear people from outside especially early mornings. Didn’t bother us too much because we are heavy sleepers, but if you are a light sleeper or get easily annoyed with outside noise keep this in mind. Also not a complain just a heads up because this was new to me, the shower had three knobs to turn to adjust water temp and turn on the shower head. It wasn’t bad just something new for us to figure out.

Haven’t been to the dunes since a senior week 15 years ago, it’s been updated tremendously. Very clean environment especially for toddles.

Love Dunes Court

I had a terrific stay. Traveling solo, I felt safe. Room was clean, roomy, wonderful location with just steps to the beach, comfortable bed, and helpful front desk staff. They got me a blanket upon my request. Maid service every day with clean towels and disposal of trash. Also a beautiful pool and plenty of convenient parking. I will definitely stay here again.

Pros: Excellent location—just a short walk to the boardwalk and beach. On-site parking is convenient and appreciated. Friendly and helpful front desk and staff. The pool area is a nice amenity and well-maintained. Its the last boardwalk tram stop Cons: The property is a dated, three-story walk-up motel with no elevator. Rooms are in need of updating: The carpet is worn and should be replaced. Walls could use fresh paint. The tub/shower has extremely low water pressure. The sink is very shallow, making it difficult to use comfortably. The window air conditioning unit was functional, but the split system was not operating.
