Great property but horrible $200 pet fee
Ocean City is beautiful during off-season as you feel like you have it all to yourself. We have visited three times with our pug and have always stayed here. The boardwalk is just around the property, self-parking with in and out privileges and covered from the elements, breakfast is decent, and you can enjoy the beauty of the ocean from the balcony. The beds are comfy, small fridge in room, nice shower, and spacious rooms. As you can see, I have enjoyed my stays here as it is also a pet-friendly property and there is a under-utilized 24 hour gym with treads, bikes, and a weight space. The only difference between my first two visits and my third was a mandatory pet-fee of $200. This was the first time I ever had a pet-fee so it was a surprise to me although now I see the fee listed in Hotels.com. Even if I tried to budget it over the course of the stay, 3 nights, that is close to $70 per night for my 25 lb small pug. This is quite an excessive fee and will have to seriously consider other properties when coming to Ocean City.

Pet friendly yet clean. On the boardwalk and my number one priority- great customer service. The shower was great..good pressure walk in with accessories and towels easily reachable. The only drawback was the beds. Not yet changed from last summer, the mattresses were impossible to sleep on. We will return as soon as the new mattresses arrive because we LOVE this place!

very disappointed after my stay at this property. I expected better for a Hyatt facility, refrigerator broke in the middle of the night, causing me to throw out food for the weekend as well as my child's medication. Noisy neighbors with dogs, barking after being abandoned in the room until late hours of the evening exhaust fan, not working in the bathroom, making a difficult to shower and stained blankets and mattresses in the room.

The hotel was very nice and centrally located. The queens beds and sofa was perfect for my family of 5. We only stayed one night to see the Winterfest lights, but we would stay again. The hotel and room were very clean and the free breakfast was well stocked.

We love Hyatt Place!
We are repeat customers who love Hyatt Place! It’s right in the middle of the Ocean City MD boardwalk; far enough down from all the noise and crowds but close enough to walk to the inlet (about a mile and a quarter/half). The rooms are big and comfy! The breakfast is awesome! (One suggestion: they need flavored creamers like Hazelnut, French Vanilla). The bathroom is big and roomy too! We love it!

Best pet friendly hotel in OC!
The best genuinely pet friendly place to stay in OC! They even put out water bowls and dog treats in the lobby. Other places say they’re pet friendly, then roll their eyes at your dog and book you their worst room - the one where the A/C doesn’t work and the shower drain is clogged. The employees at Hyatt were as happy to see my dog as any other guest! There’s also an excellent mexican restaurant and burger place across the street that are open year round.
