It was great. I would highly recommend this place as it was convenient and economical. I will offer a few recommendations to help future stays. It would be nice to know that the elevator was available to move our luggage to the room. We walked up many steps carrying luggage. Later we found the elevator. The indoor hot tub and heated pool were very nice. The morning breakfast was nice, however the coffee needs improvement.

This is a property w a dark beach island where deer, racoons many birds and coyotes still roam. Id hit the beach by day and watch the wildlife at night from a balcony. Its tranquil on this side of the bridge. Good help at the hotel. Comfortable wicker chairs and rockers out on the porch.

The rate on Ocean Isle for off season was so affordable that I really wasn't expecting much but... boy was I surprised. This inn was amazing! Modern & fresh with a very high end feeling! so many luxurious touches from a bowl sink and glass rain shower with LED lighting in the bathroom to beautiful artwork from real artists throughout the room! And the views!!! Every room is Ocean Front with rocking chairs so you can wake up and just enjoy the sound and sights! Everything was polished and the staff was VERY friendly and so helpful with everything. And I loved the electronic key option on my phone! so much easier than having to carry a plastic card key for everything! This place is a real gem!!

Hotel review -won’t stay again

The hotel room was ok. Appeared clean. Heat was marginal for 38° outside. There was one elevator which was at one end and my room at the opposite end. Had to use a luggage cart that was difficult since didn’t turn. Leaving the elevator the cart got stuck and the door closed on my right arm bruising it. Ouldnt find room originally and the desk person tried to show us but still had much difficulty finding it. Had to go through each building and then outside then open a door to another building all while pushing that horrible luggage cart.

Balcony view and distance to the Ocean was nice Upon early check-in we arrived at our assigned room to find the nastiest woman cleaning our room. I haven't been verbally abused and threatened like this House keeping lady or anybody else in my whole life. Ruined the whole stay actually. Will not go back mostly due to this treatment.
