It was easy to see that the desk clerk wasn’t happy to be working. The bathroom floor had garbage on it and looked like it hadn’t been swept in a long time. He dead bolt lock didn’t work.

Long review but still love this hotel despite all.

I really love this hotel and set up but there is a serious issue with plumbing. I stayed here a month ago and the handle fell off of the bathroom sink. This trip, the plunger in the sink didn't work and when I was finally able to pull the plug, all of the water fell to the floor. I had to wait an hour for a young guy to repair it. That meant me sitting in the room. Finally, I took my evening shower and the tub stopper didnt release so my shower meant I ended up standing in 2 inchecs of water. This hotel needs professional support by a plumbing company. Also, how could the hotel maid not notice any of this? It's bizarre to the point that maybe I was given the room as revenge for my previous review (in which I pointed out the front desk personnel as a bit snooty. It's a great hotel and set up, beautiful grounds and super great restaurant that gives room service. I've stayed there 5 times and I'll stay again without question. Using a third party to pay for your room, prevents the hotel from giving any kind of rebate or doing anything special when you encounter a real problem.

Convenient location. I was worried it would be noisy being right next to the interstate, but it was not bad at all. If you are sensitive to noise, then maybe. Room was clean and the koi garden was lovely to walk around.

Beautiful property! Nice rooms. Great facilities (Pool exercise room.) Door to room needs to be rehung. It is off center and requires a shoulder to close or open it.
