End of Summer Get-a-Way

My family and I enjoyed our stay for 2 nights in the Perkins Building. The room was clean and the close proximity to restaurants and shops is GREAT!!

Landscaping was very pretty. Coffee was great but no breakfast at all was a bit of a drag. Loved the pools, hot tub and firepit. Should be a pool for screaming children only, separate from adults. Nice walk to beach and town. Laundry room was very useful. Staff were cordial. Would stay again but in a room other that the one we were given....the indoor jacuzzi was right below and made the entire room stink like chlorine. Also would have liked a window...any window. There was only one that faced the indoor pool and allowed no daylight.

Great customer service

It was comfortable. There is a lack of sound proof rooms, with hearing them snore next door. The place was very clean and the desk help was excellent at check in and check out.

We have stayed here for years and it has always been a great experience. This year was our first year under the new ownership and it definitely has changed. The cost is significantly higher (which ok, fine, everything is on the rise) HOWEVER, the wallpaper was literally peeling off the walls, we ran out of toilet paper, and were given a token for a bottle of champagne for which we were given two glasses rather than a bottle? It was still an AMAZING weekend in Maine, but our stay was disappointing for the first time.
