Check in was easy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. After checking in, I pulled back the bedding to check the sheets (it’s a habit) and found that the fitted sheet was covered in hair and dirt. I asked for a new sheet and the office attendant moved us into the room next door. She was super helpful and genuine. Those sheets were clean. The floor, however, was filthy so my boyfriend and I walked around the room in our sandals. The hotel is very outdated and worn, with minimal amenities. It was fine for us because it was just for the weekend and we weren’t planning to stay inside much. Air conditioning worked, plenty of hot water and the mattress was old but comfortable. The price is too high, of course, but it’s competitive to the surrounding properties. The location is great, just down the road from the beach and plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.

We had issues with the TV the first night. NO refrigerator. Trains pass by ( noisy at night).

Overall, the property is clean and maintained. The rooms are typical of an older style motel. The bathrooms are very cramped and have little place to set things down. Other than that, it is an excellent value.

LIghting in room was poor. There were only 8 electrical outlets in the room - 2 for the TV, 2 for the fridge and a/c, and 2 for the lamps. The other two were in the bathroom and unusable to charge phone (wet environment) There was a microwave that was unusable because the electrical cord was too short to reach the outlet unless you put it on the floor and unplugged something else. I asked you to fix our TV the 2nd day and I meant before we left, not after. I wold rate the the worst motel/ I have ever stayed in.

Clean enough. Toilet area too small, cramped. No shelves, towel rods or hooks to hang towels and face cloths to dry. No shelf to put a toilet kit cup of water, nothing. Terribly inconvenient

this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at so much so me and my husband end up cutting our trip early and went home due to how dirty this place was. Everywhere you looked In the room you'd find either a dead bug or alive one. Hair from whoever stayed previous was still in the bed (as well as on the pillows ) when we arrived. Luckily I had an extra comforter in my car so we slept on top of the motels blankets and covered up with our own. The ac was old and didn't even cool anything down at one point the room got to 85 degrees try sleeping in that while 8 months pregnant. And to top it off we attempted to use the pool, as soon as my husband put himself on the stairs the whole structure let go from the wall and began to float in the pool while he's still standing on the stairs we then had to use the ladder at the other end of the pool to get in because the main stairs were so unsafe. We tried to avoid the motel as long as we could the following day because of how nasty it was but we eventually had to go back after being in the sun all day we wanted to rest but looking around the room we both knew that wasn't gonna happen and we agreed to pack our bags and drive the 2 hours home.

Our TV didn’t work although staff eventually fixed it, very small room, fridge froze everything, there were no free outlets for us to charge phones etc
