Staff were friendly and helpful, my heater was on when I arrived so my room was lovely and warm, the onsite cafe was awesome, nice food, however I thought the place was alittle run down in places and was looking forward to a spa but was put off by the charge for each person, I thought the use would be included with the accommodation price

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The amenities were spacious and well stocked in the kitchen areas. We were not so keen on the traffic noise although ear plugs were provided

1. The bathroom was shared, but it wasn’t clear from the room description 2. Internet speed was bad - we were getting less than 1Mbps in the room. 3. The shared space had a weird smell of smelly Asian food 4. We were given a room downstairs, and the guests upstairs made a lot of noise, making it impossible to sleep. Overall, this was my worst stay in New Zealand.

The check-in wasn’t great, with the staff member being pretty uninterested in even acknowledging us at the desk when we were the only customers there. But otherwise it was good. The rooms are small, but tidy, warm and comfortable. The in-house cafe was great for breakfast in the morning and the EV charging available in the car park was awesome. I think it’s rated at 7kw, but topped out at about 4kw. The staff serving at the cafe and at check out were really friendly, it was just the check-in that wasn’t good.
