This accomodation is fair for the price - it's cheap, a 20 min walk from the station, check in was easy, the room was clean, free coffee was available and various complementary toiletries (like toothbrush, etc). However everything is very dated, the bathroom is very small, it was quite loud (people running up and down the corridor at night and shouting) and the bed was uncomfortable. We stayed in okayama for access to naoshima so we didn't spend that long in the hotel, for this kind of trip, it's a good hotel.

Hotel room was clean, and functional. Rooms were poorly sound-proofed, so much so that you could hear conversations taking place in the rooms next door. This was a major source of annoyance during my stay. Staff were somewhat unhelpful, and the service in general was left wanting. Convenient location near Shiroshita tram stop, and walking distance to several attractions including Okayama castle and Korakuen.
