I found that the single room was actually quite spacious by Japan standards. Of course, very clean and well maintained. The staff were great and the breakfast was good. I enjoyed the matcha custard and sweet bean parfait.

Perfect location, awesome view from the 13th floor, and double glazing keeps it nice and quiet considering it's above the train station (with occasional but non-intrusive muffled train station noises sometimes filtering through). The breakfast is great and has an awesome outlook over the local platforms. The rooms are compact but remain accessible. The pillows are firm and 'feather/pipe straw' style, but surprisingly comfortable with no sore neck or back the next morning.
