Property had amazing reviews but it is just OK. There are so many other hotels in the area that I would have rather stayed at, but the reviews were so good for this one. The Avid is just a version of a Motel 6 from IHG. Seems quirky or boutique but is sparse and nothing special.

Nice breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles and fruit/bagel options. I liked the 24hr. Coffee/tea/water stations. The bed was comfy and it had a large bathroom with a good shower. The 2 treadmills in the gym were not working and some of the weights were missing from the gym station.

Loved our one night stay after attending a show. Felt safe as other hotels were around. Check in took longer than expected due to staff miscommunication at shift change about rooms that were ready, so we had to wait on a double room check to make sure it was clean. Wasn’t a problem for us though. I would stay here again.
