We've stayed at Dominion House a couple of times when OSU events in Stillwater have made it impossible to get reservations or the prices have jacked-up 3-4 times the normal rate. Stay in Guthrie, drive 30 minutes and enjoy this beautiful property at reasonable rates in the sweetest little town. Dominion House is really a hidden gem.

The staff was super patient and understanding with some of my circumstances that I was having and the room and overall experience was just amazing. The property was beautiful, the room was super clean and had amazing amenities. The history of the building was well preserved and I loved all the small details. They were upfront about so many changes happening in terms of remodeling on the property. So the dining room was closed, but a continental breakfast was available. Great historical property with so much history. We were here to tour the property for a wedding venue. Excited to return for the wedding and see the changes.

I arrived late in the evening. I called the afterhours number and Tanya was as attentive as if it were daytime. I was directed to my room. On the way, I noted the finishes on the walls and crafted wood trim around the windows and at the ceiling. During the next day I returned and was able to explore and observe more and it was all beautiful. Each interaction with staff, whether at the desk or at breakfast was up-lifting. Would recommend this hotel over a branded hotel, when I have the chance.

Staff was extremely helpful. Bed was super cozy. The bathtub was a big plus. Wish the sounds from the hallway could be less (not sure how that could be addressed). Also wish there were a few more hot entries at breakfast - perhaps from a local restaurant?
