Don’t sleep here

Roaches in the toliet. Hallways weren’t vacuumed. Room was not clean there were little white stuffing balls all over the place melted candy in the closet. We couldn’t get a refund and didn’t stay.

Upon arriving at the hotel at 3:00PM. I had to wait for approximately 30 minutes, the room was not ready. I have photos where the wall paper was buckled on the wall, holes on the wall by the bed, covered by a big chair. When you turn the faucet on in the bathroom sink, it runs on the floor. I'm not handicap, but was given a handicap room.

Horrible in Edmond.

Well first let me just say let me check in a couple hours early. Supposedly I had the rooms ready I get to my room. It was not clean so I go back down. They offer me another room and I’ve been driving over the last two days over 1600 miles All I want to do is sleep the lady in the room beside of me and I was fortunate enough lol to have the adjoining door. I woke up to some woman on the speakerphone so I turned the TV on and I couldn’t even hear the TV for her conversation so I knocked on her door and ask her could she please be quiet She calls the front desk and says I threatened her. They came up. He heard the conversation they put me in another room this time they put me in a room with two queen beds instead of a king the room smelled mildew. The pillows are god-awful. If you’re staying in this area, they have four hotels on this cul-de-sac of La Quinta Inn. My home suites Holiday Inn, and a Fairfield Inn all would have to be better than the one I just stayed in.

The only elevator got stuck on the first day trapping somebody inside. Not that I would’ve taken it, but it was out of service the rest of the time. We had to take the stairs to the third floor every time after that. The front desk person had her hand in her pants and was watching a video when I walked in and continued to play that video as I was checking in on high volume, extremely unprofessional and gross. I don’t think she looked up at me the entire time, but honestly did not want to make eye contact with her.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The elevator looked like it had not been vacuumed for a long time and the 2nd floor halls needed vacuumed. We stayed at this hotel because of the indoor swimming pool, but my kids would not swim in it due to it being very cloudy. I asked the desk clerk and he said he had turned it in to be serviced. Unfortunately that would not happen until we were gone. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The morning staff was really great and very friendly.

Be aware & informed

I am giving a 2 star as I do not yet have a resolution. I was a walk in customer & specifically asked if the room had a sofa & would fit my family. The front desk assured me it would & that if I booked online it would be a cheaper rate. So I did. When we entered our room, there was no way it would sleep 5 without someone on the floor (no sofa). We immediately went back to the desk & was told there would be no refunds since I booked a 3rd party. The room was not touched & we did not stay. As of 10 days later, I still do not have a response on a refund for being misinformed & not staying at this hotel (room not touched, no amenities used, etc). If a favorable resolution is recieved, i would update my review.

She said she was working on it and i waited for a few minutes, then she hung up. i had to go down to the front desk. She could not get the wifi working with my room credentials so she used another rooms credentials on my ipad.

The ceiling above the shower was obviously patched and falling apart again. The toilet seat was broken at the hinges. There was bathroom trash not swept before I checked in. And the room ceiling corners had cobwebs.

Bathroom needs improvements

While we were not in our hotel room much, other than to sleep, I did notice a few improvements that can be made. The paint in the tub was cracked and peeling. I have a toddler, so they still take a bath. They had tried to put two rubber mats over the peeling paint to cover it up which made the tub pretty slick. The floors were not carpeted, which I usually prefer, but these had not been kept clean and you constantly had dirt and crumbs stuck to your feet. Even though there was a sign that said housekeeping only comes every other day, they did “clean” our room every day, so that was nice. They provided clean towels, took out trash, and made the beds.
