The property is normal for the area. But the La Quinta itself, is much cleaner and nicer than the Hawthorn or Motel 6. The Motel 6 is full of cockroaches and the Hawthorn reeks of cigarette smoke (at least the hall on the 2nd floor and room #225 do). Like all motels, I don't think they every clean the coffee makers

We checked in very late and the front desk person was very nice and accommodating. The room was clean. The housekeeping staff were patient with us for leaving a few minutes after check out and friendly. The only complaint I have is that the fan didn’t work in the bathroom.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Clean, updated room. Only issue i had with the room was it was a very firm bed and we were there for 5 days. So i didnt sleep very well.

Room was large and spacious as was the bed so my stay was enjoyable. The only real complaint I had was that both my key cards failed to open the door on my second day at the hotel which necessitated me having to dump my belongings outside the door to my room as I trudged back to the front desk to get my cards reprogrammed. I saw the guest in the next room have the same issue the very next day so wouldn't call it an isolated incident.

The filters in their heat & A/C units are clean, but seem to be cleaned with some sort of Lysol products. My sinuses can't handle Lysol products. But as long as I rinse them as soon as I get there, I can handle it. Other than that, I have no complaints.

I've stayed here before. I found that the filters in the Heat & A/C are usually clean. But I rinse them in the shower anyway, because they seem to be sprayed or cleaned in some sort of Lysol product. Lysol products always cause my sinuses problems. Rinsing them helps but doesn't fix the problem completely. Other than that, I have zero complaints. I'm sure I will continue to stay here whenever I have a need.
