Incredibly neglected maintenance of a uninsulated, 40 year old single wide being sold as a deluxe suite.
No soap in the bathroom, paper thin linens, dirty sink broken (infilled) soap dispenser in the shower. Cracked/peeling paint, hole in walls. No staff contact as we arrived late (9:30pm) and left early (7am) to get out of the place.
The units were actual house trailers, RVs, and teepees. We stayed in the "Deluxe Queen" room with kitchenette. It was fine, and the bed was very comfortable, but having the kitchen sink in the bathroom was a bit odd.
The room was very dirty. Trash not picked up, used coffee powder left in coffee maker and really dirty bath tub. There was no hand soap to wash hands.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The room was not cleaned properly. There were long hairs in one of the restrooms, and there were no trash cans to dispose of our trash, so we had to use a bag from the car. The oven was turned on while we were checking in, and the inside was updated, but the outside was poorly maintained. They need better upkeep. The checking staff was awesome and welcoming. However, we found roaches in the unit, and there were no paper towels or hand towels in the kitchen or restroom. We came to spend family time with my godson and his mom, but the experience could have been better.
What a fun adventure to stay in a Tipi! It was 35 degrees the night we stayed and with the heater and the blankets we slept well and were not cold. The staff are great, and the experience is memorable! I would highly recommend.
Very easy to check in and we had a choice of Tipis. It was such a unique experience to sleep in a tipi in Death Valley

Liked: Cleanliness
The room was clean and neat. The only real problem was the internet. The TV just wouldn’t stay hooked up. The staff was very nice and friendly though.

Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Do not recommend.
I booked this stay for my son. As he was going to hiking in the area for the weekend. He had a long drive from LA after work and arrived late, so there was nobody in the office, but they had left the keys out for him. When he got to his small cabin, he found the conditions to be unacceptable with the smell of sewer coming from one of the bathrooms, rotting bathroom floor and several spiders and an uncleaned room. He did say the bed had clean sheets, but because of the smell of sewer he was not able to sleep and try to sleep in his small sedan. He had to leave very early in the morning to start the hike so again there was nobody in the office to let know if the conditions or possibly change rooms. He decided not to come back for his other two nights. I tried multiple times to reach staff the next day to let them know, he had checked out and to request a refund due to the poor conditions of the room, but I never was able to reach anybody. I sent an email to the corporate office and never received an email back. I opened up a dispute on my credit card and the company said that I got the services that I paid for which wasn’t true. I would not recommend this place. If you have to check out late or early or if there’s any problems there’s nobody to help you address them. I’m sure if you have your own RV it could be a better situation.
This is a very unique hotel experience in the desert, which I absolutely loved. The manager, Alice, was also the cook and waitress. She was so friendly, and we had great conversations during my stay. The room was recently renovated and was very comfortable. I liked the porch, where I could sit and look at the mountains and the desert. I kind of wish I stayed in a teepee.
