Property was clean and staff friendly. Was going to do valet parking. But, they didnt know how to drive a stick. They were extremely nice and took parking charge off and i parked free . The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. The only thing i wasn't pleased with, was , the girl that checked us in wore a pride pin. While she was kind and professional. I dont care about anyones sexual preference ect. I go to get away from ALL controversial stuff. I feel workers should stay away political things also. I want to not even think of things like that while i go to enjoy my time.

I have always enjoyed Embassy but this visit was disappointing. The A/C was not working sufficiently and I was told “that’s as good as it is going to get” then when I returned to the hotel that evening my door was not shut (as it did not close on its own) the staff did not make sure it was closed after looking at the A/C

Just ok. Lots of issues that could have been avoid

Sub par hotel. I had requested adjoining rooms. Called the hotel the morning we were arriving and made sure they saw the request. Was told “they would do everything they could to help accommodate our needs”. Got to the hotel, they had us on the 6th floor and my son on the 4th floor. Went to front desk to ask if we could be moved to get a closer room and oddly enough, they had rooms on the same floor. The front desk gal changed our room to the one right next door to my son (the hotel doesn’t even have adjoining rooms btw) and my husband and I go to our room and open the door, someone is already in that room. I’m glad they weren’t actually in the room because that could have turned out bad!! Go to the front desk yet again, and they changed us to 2 doors down from my son. That was doable. The rooms overall were spacious but were very damp and musty smelling. Some type of dehumidification system is definitely needed. Embassy Suites always has a great breakfast. Our second day there, getting back to our room that evening, our hotel key didn’t work. So back down to the front desk yet again. We were quite frustrated by the time we left.

Complimentary breakfast was great, evening reception was nice with 2 alcoholic drinks per person & soda pop for the kids. Very family-friendly place, very clean, liked the layout of this hotel, perfect spot close to old market, riverfront & downtown Omaha. Parking was close & secure. Good customer service. The one thing I was surprised about was no fan in the bathroom, so a bit damp when we each took a shower, but not a dealbreaker. Price was reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great experience over the 3 nights we stayed. Our room’s mini fridge wasn’t working when we arrived, we contacted the front desk and they had it up and running by the time we returned to our room that evening. The staff was attentive and very helpful and friendly. The breakfast options were wonderful, and we enjoyed the cocktail tickets and snack bar each evening. Parking was a bit of an inconvenience being across the street, and having to pay each night, but overall will not deter us from staying in the future.

We love that this hotel is so close to the Gene Leahy mall as our kids LOVE it! Our kids are always so glad to stay here and often times don't want to leave. Breakfast is amazing with the option of a fresh made to order breakfast that we can't get anywhere else, and the price isn't terrible when you can find some deals. Such a great location!

It was dirty and the first room we received smelled like an ash tray. When we informed the staff they said the only thing they could do is give us a new room but not the same room type we paid for. We paid for a upgrading room. The 2nd room didn't smell like an ash tray, however it was very humid and throughout the 2 night stay everything was sticky. The air condition work but some how didn't due to how every felt sticky and humid. When asked how things were after receiving the 2nd room I had to ask for them to do something to make it right for not getting the room we paid for. The only thing they offered was a upgraded drink or an appetizer from the bar. I asked for both which they gave us. They claim they have a restaurant but not really. It just a bar with bad service and over price meals. I would be upset if I had to pay for the appetizer we got for free. It took over 45min to get and we had to ask about before they gave it to us. It had been sitting on the back counter. We have stayed at many Embassy Suites before and have enjoyed our time there, however I would never go back to this one again. When we checked out they asked about our stay. I told them I was not happy and told them about the 1st room and the 2nd room. They didn't appear surprised and acted like this was a normal complaint.

Not Normal Embassy

Spent a Friday night at Embassy Omaha and was quite disappointed. Firstly, the pillow on the bed was ridiculous. See pic. I was there with my daughters and my grandchildren. Breakfast was unsatisfying. There was cold cereal available but only skim and almond milk were out. YUCK!! There was no butter for the toast or pancakes. Those 3 things do not meet the price that Embassy charges. This is the first Embassy that I have stayed at that has been disappointing. Ive stayed at Embassy's from Florida to Colorado.
