Excellent staff! Free shuttle service, BEAUTIFUL!

The hotel is lovely yet aged. Carpet could use an updated. Staff was absolutely spectacular! We did have an issue with our first room. We were quickly and efficiently switched to a new room that was a bit more spacious as well as received an apology. The staff everywhere in the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. The shuttle service came in handy numerous times and all of the drivers were wonderful! Especially Izzy! Thank you for the great stay. We definitely enjoyed the 8pm cookies! The hotel is in a great location to downtown. Carrie at the front desk was more than helpful and very careful with our family’s safety when it came to making new key cards for us. Also thank you to the char tender (blonde male) for filling a cup of milk for our our baby when we couldn’t get a gallon at the mart down the road. You saved our lives! Thank you everyone at Hotel Magnolia I hope we have an opportunity to visit again!

This Hotel was great family friendly and accommodating. The Room was clean and very updated. The staff went above and beyond expectations. Will stay again when in Omaha.

Front hotel staff was not very friendly or accommodating. We arrived for check in around 3:10 and asked if we could get in prior to the 4pm check in time. They asked for my cell and I said we would just wait. I was told it should not be long probably a few minutes, so we waited in the lobby. While we waited we watched several people with no reservation show up and check in to a room immediately and others with a reservation show up and get their keys immediately. While we waited the staff chatted with each other and did not address us once. Finally at 3:55 my husband went up to ask about our room questioning that others have shown up with and without reservations and no one else waited for a room. We were then told he could switch to a different room to get us in a room right away. Why this wasn’t offered at check in and we waited for so long is a mystery. The staff at the desk was not very friendly or accommodating. I chose to change and cancel our next two bookings at the hotel to find one that has more of a customer service attitude. The resturaunt was good and staff was excellent as was the room attendant and room service.

Worn out and in need of refurbishing...

Worn out and desperately in need of refurbishing. The bathroom barn type door was so hard to operate you needed both arms and to put all your weight into it. Beds were lumpy. Toilet ran incessantly. Everything just looked tired. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff was hard working and flexible with dietary limitations. Food was pretty good.

After changing rooms twice our room was fine. The first room hadn’t been cleaned prior to our check in. Still had trash on the floor from previous guests as well as food leftovers and sticky residue on nightstands. The staff were helpful and moved us to a second room but unfortunately the air conditioning didn’t work in that room so we were moved to a third room and that room was fine. Parking was convenient and hotel within walking distance to shops and dining. Again even though room conditions were not good, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful .

Nice place. Would def book again if ever in the area. Warm cookies and milk at night was so nice. They were extremely pet friendly there! Paying for overnight parking was a surprise but it was fine!

Parking is $32 a night so let’s start there. The on-site restaurant had horrible service and no they were not busy. Just poorly run. Free coffee in the morning lobby was empty and never refilled. Front desk staff lacked friendliness. Won’t be back and we frequent the hay market often.
