Clean room. Room climate was good. TV did not work. Called front desk and they offered to move us but we had already settled in. We had spent 12 hours at Valas Pumpkin Patch and just wanted to relax. Asked for a discount for no TV and would not allow for discount. TV should be a standard for even the most economical hotel room.

Honestly, the stay was pretty decent – I didn't have any major issues with the staff, and they were friendly and professional. That being said, the cleanliness was seriously lacking. My room was a bit of a mess, with grimy walls and a door that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while – there were some pretty gross splatters and drips. Definitely could've used a deeper clean.

Upon pulling into the parking lot, there was overgrown weeds growing in the cracks of the cement in the parking lot. The smell of the hallway and room were unpleasant, almost like smelling an old basement. Upon entering my room, there were paint chips falling from the wall surrounding the air conditioning unit, exposing the wall underneath. The covers on both beds were severely wrinkled, not sure if that is a style of the bed cover or not, but did not look inviting. Also, lots of stains on the bathroom floor corners and inside the shower, not sure if that is because of mildew. The shower head did not shoot out, could be due to mildew buildup. The drain was slow, so I stood in couple of inches in water. The towels were very stiff and scratchy.

The hotel seems to have been updated on the inside. The beds were fairly comfortable with decent sized rooms. However, the room smelled musty, the sink stunk horrible and there were splatters of some sort on the walls by the sink and desk. Clearly visible that the cleaning staff could see to clean. The office chair was missing a wheel, so it didn't roll nice nor sat level.

Our room had a strange odor. Several of tge lights did not work, regardless of switches. Assuming bulbs were burned out. The toilet had to be flushed multiple tines.The faucet diverter for the shower did not work, so the shower was weak, but probably wouldnt have mattered because the shower head itself was plugged and you could barely rinse your body or hair. The beds were so hard, everyone was sore after one night so we checked out early and went home. Staff and breakfast were ok. But tge grounds around tge building were dirty, several people lingering around at hours of the night on both ends of the building and emergency doors were propped open so security was lacking. Would not recomnend or stay there again

I requested a room on the first floor and I did not get it. Had to climb the stairs with asthma and two bad knees not very fun. There are no USB ports anywhere in the room. There is only one outlet by the bed. Luckily, I brought an extension cord with me for our two CPAP.S

Room was very dirty specifically the carpet. I took a shower walked on the floor back to the bed. Feet felt gross and could see dirt/grease/discoloration on my feet after 5 minutes. Felt something under my toes-turns out to be a pill. My guess is that carpet is not been vacuumed very well. Hard no for me staying there again. If you do, be sure and wear shoes at all times in the room.
