We went out for an early dinner so we would be back to watch the World Series, arriving back to our room we found our tv didn’t work. Contacting the desk we were told they were busy, 1/2 hour later I walked down to the desk and was told they’d come right up to check on it. 1/2 hour later and no one showing up,we phoned and asked for a different room….was told they’d look into what they had…15 more minutes went by again with no word from the desk. I phoned down again and was told to try and fix ithe tv ourselves!

They have an indoor pool which is why I picked this property but when I checked in and inquired about the pool hours they said that they had just done cleaning maintenance on it and it would be an hour before it would be ready which would have been 5:00 p.m. It was out of service all night so I never got to use it at all. Disappointed.

The check-in was great. Very professional and pleasant. However, the room was in very run-down condition especially the floors. They were spongy in places and I wondered I was going to fall through to the next floor. No elevator - so we had to use the stairs. They had an uneven rise to them and I felt they were dangerous.

I have stayed at this hotel before a few years ago and it has definitely gone some hill. The breakfast was ok and the bed was okay. Trash from the previous guest had not been taken out and it was noisy from other guests.

If you need a place to sleep. It works.

I t gave us a place to sleep. There was a gap under the door and we could see the hallway lights. It didn’t feel private / safe. We were exhausted so we were grateful for a place to sleep but it was pretty expensive for what we got.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the rest of the motel was kind of run down. The young man at the front desk was OK, but not horribly friendly. The breakfast was great.

Unsanitary room conditions

This was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed at in the United States. It started with a sign on the fire exit saying “This door is locked. Use other exit.” After complaining twice they just blocked the door open with a towel removing any hotel security. There were large stains on the carpet and the transition edges were pulled up and tattered. The fabric chair was so dirty I had to put a towel over it to sit on it. The desk chair we washed before using. The curtains were torn in two. The cable TV didn’t work. The remote control was wrapped in packing tape. There was no shower curtain. The front desk just gave us one and told us to install it ourselves. The grout lines of the shower tiles were covered in pink mold. The toilet seat was broken. The tub faucet was broken and you couldn’t adjust water temperature. The sink didn’t drain and the toilet had a leak causing the tank to refill several times every hour The bedding sheets was clean and we had our own pillows. The next morning when we spoke with the manager and asked to be moved. I asked him to tour the room and if those conditions were not acceptable to their standards that they should refund my money. They chose not to give me a refund which sends a message that those room conditions were acceptable to hotel management The room we were moved to was clean and in better condition in line with the age of the hotel.

This property did not meet my expectations from the description I looked at when I booked our room. The motel was old and run down. The carpet was horrible! The breakfast was the best part of our stay. But overall I would not recommend staying here
