Dirty, broken or stained.
The decor is outdated,dirty, broken or stained. We requested joining rooms when i booked and made the reservation online. We did get joining rooms however later in the evening the middle support under one of the beds in my friends room broke while she was just sitting and watching tv. She got moved to the end of the hall to the last available room. Not the end of the world. Around 12am or one I heard someone go into the now vacant room that my friend was in. The walls are paper thin. About a half hour later there's A LOT of noise of people going in the room bumping stuff on the walls going in and out and then the sound of an air mattress being blown up. This continued over an hour and I couldn't get to sleep. Around 3am I called the front desk to let them hopefully handle it. The person who answered said that they gave them a big discount because the room wasn't cleaned. I asked if I was going to get a big discount because i couldn't fall asleep because they were being so loud. He said I'll have to ask the manager for that. I spoke with the manager. He took down my information and he had to reach out to the owners for compensation. I have not heard from him to this day. 5 phone calls and 2 months later.

Room was dirty, stained bed cover, stained pillows, etc. Front desk was embarrassed and said they have had trouble with housekeeping. He did what he could to make it more acceptable for us. We will not be staying again.

I had to pay extra for “continental breakfast” and there was absolutely nothing but waffles and cereal, due to dr prescribed dietary needs, I wasn’t even able to eat breakfast but had to pay for it. The walls are PAPER thin so I was up all night both nights we stayed. You know you always hear red lions are nice, not the case here, more like outdated motel 6. Absolutely horrible I’d never stay again. Paint was horrible, room didn’t look clean; uncomfortable beds, ugh it was horrible! Never again!! And it was tiny!!

The room was decent. Could use better lighting. The walls were thin and you could hear the people above you. Bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast which cost extra was not good. They had very little to choose from. Mainly cereal.
