Convenient hotel near the airport

1 night stopover on night before flying out of Aruba to return to the U.S. Hotel is right next to the Aruba airport so convenient and easy to walk to check-in area, no need for taxis. Staff is warm and friendly. Room was clean, quiet and well-maintained. Breakfast is included in stay. Pool was very nice but not enough lounge chairs to move into the shade if sitting there for a period of time. The only thing to be aware of is that other than a small restaurant as part of the hotel, there is nowhere to eat around there, We took a taxi into town for dinner and it was $25 each way.

Room had mold smell. Could not control your own air conditioning. Shampoo and soap dispensers all empty in shower. Enjoyed breakfast but no butter available for toast? We even asked. Due to location near airport taxi drivers charge airport rate even if not going far. Based on location not mileage. Only there a night due to flight delay.

Spacious rooms. Excellent service. Wonderful, wonderful staff! A ***Terrible, terrible beds and pillows!!!** Beds are soft as a sponge. Saggy. If you have back problems, bring pain killers. Pillows are soggy and smelly. Made of feathers. Need washing.
