We took a family trip with 8 years old. We loved the private island and swimming with flamingos. Location of the hotel is amazing. However the side that’s kids friendly needs a remodel. Just felt old specially comparing with Adults only side We had to wait to get our room and when my kids were getting restless and I asked the front desk. He was getting upset and not even looking into my face. He can see my kids are tired and it’s KIDS FRIENDLY side of the hotel. Maybe be little extra kind.

The property itself and the staff were lovely. My son & both have food allergies. Being a celiac is difficult when dining out. I was disappointed at how we paid for the all inclusive plan but weren’t able to eat many of the items on the restaurants menus. I was also disappointed to realize that the cruise ship guests had access to the private island. We had to make sure we caught the 7am boat over there otherwise we wouldn’t have chairs to sit in. Overall though, the rooms were clean, restaurants were plentiful and the staff was very professional and friendly.

Hotel was nice and near plenty of shopping and restaurants. We loved the visit to their private island (Flamingo and Iguana Islands). Staff were all very nice and accommodating. The pools on the property were nice, but not too much seating around, so those filled up quickly. The actual hotel room did not feel like cleanest, and of the 5 night stay, they only came to clean our room once (the day before we left). We were back at the room probably around 3/3:30 everyday to shower to get ready to go out for dinner and the rooms were not yet done. We made it work and took the garbage out ourselves, but thought 3pm was late to have the room cleaned.

Stayed here for 3 days over Christmas. The flamingo island was great and the ease of access to the island is ideal. There are staff / services that are outstanding and there are areas where we expected a little more for the cost of the stay ( Eg: lights in main area of suite not working and required switch replacement, our cards being deactivated hours before late check out and onsite Fresco restaurant was not quite as expected). Overall solid 4/5 but for the price a guest may want something a little more.

The flamingo beach is definitely the most unique jewel. One doesn't get tired of the view, the ocean, and the very service oriented staff. Most wonderful though are the Arubans themselves. They are hard working, service oriented, never tired to help and please their customers. We had quite a few very nice conversations with people, and that constitutes once of the best experiences aside from the weather, the beach, and the rest.

Overall, the resort is absolutely beautiful. The service was excellent and the resort was very clean. The room was very nice and cozy. The only con was the bathroom sink. You can tell some upgrades were poor made. We will definitely visit again! The highlight is the staff assisted with providing a small birthday cake and balloons to make my husband's day special ❤️

The family side of the resort is really nice with the swim up bar, great sunrise and sunset views, larger rooms. The adult marina side is more of a Miami vibe' look and feel, the rooms are super small with no real balconies or views. The lobby on the adult side was way too busy with a lot of foot traffic all day and night. Pros: I loved being connected to the mall and being able to walk to the straw market, restaurants and to see the cruise ships. The food was pretty good. The boat ride to Flamingo Beach was nice. Flamingo Beach was nice and relaxing but I personally prefer to walk out of my resort to the beach. Now the massage on Flamingo Beach listening to the waves was so relaxing and much needed. I can check the Renaissance off my list. And I would recommend it to stay at least once. I like staying on the Palm Beach side better, more atmosphere, vibes and the restaurants are great.
