Wished for a balcony but got a first floor, thus was dark in the room . Room clean and pleasant. The TV gets very hot to touch because its right above the fire place. Otherwise, pleasant stay. Will stay again if told we get second floor.

Night time flood lights ruin the beach views

Stayed in the new wing on the top floor with a lovely balcony overlooking the beach. The room was excellent with a big bed and a gas insert fireplace with push button operation. A tiny space with a mini fridge, microwave, and a pod coffee machine that made awful coffee, but otherwise a useful mini kitchen for my breakfast. I would have appreciated wall hooks for my jackets instead of that tiny closet and a desk and chair. There is a bathtub which is not in the bathroom, but next to the couch I found rather silly and I did not use it. Also, the shower has clear glass walls fully visible from both the bathroom and the bedroom. So, if you want privacy there forget it. I tried the free breakfast one morning and found it so lacking in variety and healthy options. They were actually serving biscuits and gravy and the only fruit was orange slices and the coffee was cold and looked like brown water. The rest of my stay I went to a couple of cafe’s with excellent espresso drinks and fresh made egg sandwiches. The biggest drawback about this hotel and the reason I probably will not book here again was the fact that the hotel has these insane flood lights that shine on the beach from the top of the buildings from sunset to sun up. If you are standing on the balcony you can’t see the stars at night or the crashing waves. it’s just a wall of light. When I asked the desk staff member why they do this her only answer was that she thought it was for security. So much light flooding my room

My wife loves the indoor room bathtub. The room is clean and spacious. I like the fireplace, which I assume is real. The room has the ocean view, so we can leave the balcony door open all night to listen to the waves. The staffs are friendly. There is free breakfast. We would come back when we visit the town again.

The views were perfect!! I thought breakfast would have better options from reading all past reviews but it was mediocre. But the clam chowder and cookies during the day was a plus! Central location.

We had water pressure issues and they came to look at it, but needed a bigger fix. They said they would fix the next day but never got fixed. Luckily there were 2 bathrooms. We like the rooms and the staff were helpful and the ease of access to the beach is perfect.

we took my mother-in-law to Lincoln city for her 80th birthday. The room in the Lincoln Sand was nice. One king bed in a separate sleeping area and then a Queen Murphy bed. The staff was great. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The view of the beach was phenomenal. the Murphy bed seemed like it was kind of squishy. But my mother-in-law didn’t complain so everything was good. I would stay there again.
