There were a few minor issues (cracked floor tiling, main ceiling light wasn't working), but otherwise it met our expectations. The spa tub was very nice. The room itself was fairly stuffy, and required ample time with windows open to be comfortable.

The room was small but good. The location is excellent to the beach and restaurants and bars. The only issue we had was an outside light that bled into the room at night which affected our sleep. It was rectified the following morning, but my frustration was that it was clear by tape marks on the door that this was a known issue and should have been solved earlier.

The Cannon Beach Hotel is clean, comfortable and had the best location for spending time on the beach or walking into town. The staff are friendly and efficient. Just a 2 minute walk is the beach and Haystack Rock is RIGHT THERE! We enjoyed our stay immensely. The Lobby is cozy and there is quality Coffee available for early risers! What a treat!

It was ok. Very small. Easy walk to the beach. Dog area was nice and clean. I always love clean quality linens, and would have loved to have improved towels and sheets. The staff was friendly.

The Courtyard

The room we booked was unacceptable, due to an extremely strong disinfectant odor so we got transferred by a very understanding staff, to The Courtyard (part of the “collection”) nearby which was clean and lovely.

Very good overall experience here! Loved how close it is to walk to beach (& Haystack Rock). It was comfortable & quiet, had a nice little balcony, & was very clean. Liked soothing sound of courtyard fountain from our balcony. Didn’t like lack of counter space in bathroom or the round sink on top of counter. Bed a little too soft for our preferences. Microwave was too low (floor level).
