It would be nice to have breakfast with the motels. There’s no instructions on how to turn the gas heater on. The seals on the windows is not good enough and you can still hear the wave crashing and it makes hard to fall sleep. Over all ok

The room is not clean, stain in the floors and then they lie and charge for what was there before, urine and stains from other dogs. Not enough utensils and you can hear everything from above or under. Very rude front desk and manager. Besides the view all is old and run down, not worth the money.

Limited amenities: i.e., no ice machine (or not clearly marked in welcome sheet), Front desk closes at 8pm, so limited access to DVD rentals. Late check in time (4pm instead of 3pm), and early check out time (11am instead of noon). Even with 5-hour room turnover, our room was not ready when we checked in at 5pm.

great few days away!

Love the view from the cabins at the Ester Lee. Have always stayed in the 2 bedroom ones before but just husband and I so chose the 1 bedroom which is small but cozy.

I will say the view from room was wonderful. However this location is right off hwy, so there is traffic noise and very challenging to pull safely onto hwy when leaving property. No AC in so very warm and stuffy in the rooms. The provided fan in room looked as it had never been cleaned. I pulled huge dirt/dust balls out of it. The amount of guck and grime in the window seals is unacceptable and no safety features on windows. No screens. Not kid friendly. Our concerns were brought to their attention quickly explaining our safety concerns and below standards of cleanliness and comfortability. Unfortunately they were not willing to refund all or even partial of the reservation(2 nights). Was told the concerns provided did not quailify for any type of compensation. We took the loose and went elsewhere.

amazing view and floor plan was good. Very outdated with broken and rusted wall heaters. Only heat was a small one that could be moved from room to room.No bolt lock on entrance door. Window shades hard to close, bedroom shade had broken wand.

Ester Lee is quaint and old fashioned. If you don't mind old fixtures, rustic finishes, blend of 40's and 50's style living, no dishwasher in my unit (223), minimal kitchen ware (pots pans plates, bowls) it works and the view is pretty good, minus the power lines for some of the units that are set back. Bed was comfy, had windows that opened, most were street side, one was ocean side. Unit could have been cleaner. I stayed in a dog friendly one and there was more than a reasonable amount of hair left behind on the floors, not a deal breaker though. Overall, if you're not too fussy and want a good view with beach access, though steep, it's a nice place to stay.
