We stayed here for our honeymoon weekend right after our wedding. My husband had booked a spa treatment for right after checkout. While the massage itself went well, he asked the front desk where he could shower afterwards since he had a 5-hour drive home and didn’t want to be covered in oil. Unfortunately, the staff member at the desk (Ella) was unhelpful and came across as quite rude. Instead of offering a proper solution, she repeatedly said, “you could shower here, but…” without clarifying or making an effort to assist. She also mentioned that the spa is not actually associated with the resort and only rents the space, which was surprising and disappointing since the property is advertised as a “resort and spa.” That was one of the main reasons we chose to stay here, and it left us feeling misled and let down after choosing this hotel for a special occasion trip away.

The views around the property were great. We were disappointed in the room size (#228) including the lack of a dresser. The room size as shown on the Expedia site was spacious. The Expedia site should post information that accurately portrays the room being rented.

Staying right on the beach in Cannon Beach can’t be beat. The view of Haystack rock is breath taking. The room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The provided fan in each room worked great to keep us cool.

Location was great! Beach access right there and all the amenities to enjoy it. We had issues with low tire pressure and the maintenance team came to rescue, since Cannon Beach doesn’t have tire shop or gas station. Given the hotel is a bit old, you can hear people walking on upper floors.

Nice views but, horrible smell

The hotel's location is terrific. The room had a very unpleasant sewage aroma that lingered throughout the visit. We were located next to the main walkway leading down to the beach and could hear people walking by the two windows at all hours of the day and night.

Amazing views and great service. The front desk was very helpful. They lent us binoculars to views the birds on haystack rock and we we're able to get a smores kit to make smores on the beach while watching the sunset. I highly recommend to anyone.

What a beautiful resort! It was our first time in Cannon Beach and first time staying at the Hallmark Resort - Pacific Suites. We will definitely be back! Everything was perfect, except for a little spotty Wi-Fi now and then. But we weren't in our room too much so the Wi-Fi didn't bother us too much. All in all, it is a wonderful place to stay!!!
