I dont ever like to leave bad reviews because I think people focus too much on the negative. My stay here wasn't the best. We walked into out room and it had a smell to it, it was also 90 degrees. I went to turn off the heater and it was broken, my best friend went to take a bath in the jacuzzi and it was also broken. I went to get the fan because it was warm and it was broken.. I had to turn all heater and jacuzzi off with the breaker. I went to call someone but the desk was closed. When I checked out on that Sunday to bring attention about my stay the lobby was locked. This was my first time at Cannon Beach. I'll go again but I won't be booking here.

Great centrally located lodging for staying at Cannon Beach. The 2 bedroom suite would benefit from warming lighting and not-so-strong cleaning product.

My daughter said its cute, and my wife said she doesn’t like private bathroom windows and parking lot is kinda small if you have a big truck you might have a hard time to park , other than that it’s all good location is perfect in city, no ocean view

We loved the location and ease to walk to the beach. We wish our fireplace had been working but everything else was great. The power was out due to a storm but that was nobody's fault.

I stayed in #8 Qn rm kitchen no stove $125night. I would avoid this room for many reasons. I've stayed here once before across the street in a queen room. That one was nicer and more private. If I knew #8 had someone above me I never would have stayed in that unit. I liked this place because you don't have anyone above or below you. The people above me were noisy!! Stomping, slamming doors. Dropping things on the floor every 15 min. It was driving me nuts. I finally asked the older lady in front if she could ask them to stop stomping and slamming around. She said she would. They never really stopped. Very little self awareness. Nobody followed up about it. #8 is right next to the office. So you have people and cars at your door. It's weird. Also you can see through the front door glass. I had to tape paper towel to the window to feel safe. I asked the younger front desk girl to bring me a couple extra towels. They never came. This was all Christmas eve. On Christmas night the power went out at 10pm in the entire city. Luckily they had a camping lantern in the room so I had light. Hopefully they have these in all the rooms. The bathroom in #8 feels outdated but clean. It needs a happy color on the wall to distract from the ugly counter and floor. The bedroom is cozy, clean and well decorated. Except for the unfinished trim on the floor by the bedroom door. 3 remotes! Too many. It would be hard for old people and electronically challenged individuals to use. no instructions.

I got a particularly good deal of $113 (including taxes) when I reserved it same day on Dec 24 amd was very happy for that price. Room was very clean and had a jacuzzi tub. Looked like it had been painted fairly recently though a somwwhat old building. Just a block from the beach near Haystack Rock which is a pretty part of Cannon Beach. Check in was quick and easy. It even had clean bathrobes hanging though I did not use them. Parking was a little awkward but aside from that very happy for for the price I paid. There are multiple stores a few blocks away.

It was just bad. I'm assuming that it was staff but multiple times people let them selves into my room. I mean barged in with a key. No knocking. It was very upsetting. Also they closed the office but didn't send me a text or anything to let me know how to find the keys. Also upsetting. They have DVD's because the giant smart tv's don't actuality work and neither does the wifi. I called the "front desk" and asked about the wifi and my privacy being violated. She literally said "well we use wifi in the office it's fine here" it was just unbelievable. I could go on..

We absolutely loved our stay at the Inn at Haystack! Walking distance, clean adorable cottages, every convenience you would need or want. The only reason we can’t rate everything as five stars or excellent is because of the hot water! We got a cottage with a jacuzzi and the water never would get above warm. That’s one of the reasons we paid extra for the room so it was a let down to not have hot water.
