Charming Stay with a Beautiful View, but Some Clutter at the Entrance
Our room at Jot’s Resort was very nice and exceptionally clean. We especially loved having a private deck with a view of the river and even a glimpse of the ocean. It was a perfect, peaceful spot to enjoy our morning coffee. We were delighted to watch seals playing in the water. It was such a cute and memorable touch.
The room itself was great, but the front desk area was a bit awkward and gave a poor first impression. The building looks like a mix between a small country market and a closed-down restaurant, with dim lighting and visible clutter behind the desk, including what looks like a messy, tacky living room setup behind the desk.
The parking lot also had some strange items scattered around, including an old boat, piles of construction wood, and a disassembled pickup truck camper. However, once you get past that initial area, the riverfront side of the property is clean, well-kept, and truly enjoyable.
If you can overlook the entrance and parking lot clutter, the rooms and riverfront experience are absolutely worth it.
