The area outside was noisy into the late night, then again in early morning. But the proximity to amenities was excellent and very walkable.

Gorgeous and Fun
What a wonderful hotel! Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was a little worried about what the shared bathroom situation would be like, but there were far more bathrooms than I expected. We will absolutely stay here again!

Everything was very nice. The staff was excellent. The only downside is finding parking, however that is beyond the control of the hotel. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

The room was next to the front desk and was extremely loud. The staff were talking late into the night with various guests and we were not able to sleep well at all. The room we had should come with a warning that it's possible to hear every conversation that takes place at the front desk, and even have a lower rate to accomodate for this. I've stayed in other rooms at this hotel with no issues but this was quite unacceptably loud.

Norblad Hotel was awesome! The shared restrooms and showers were stylish and clean! We loved that you could check out a record player from the lobby and pick from their extensive vinyl collection. Centrally located and right next to Fort George Brewery. Would stay here again!

Norblad Hotel is in a perfect location. Many restaurants, shops, pubs, and museums are all within walking distance. The hotel itself is warm and inviting and our room was gorgeous. We will definitely stay here again.

Walkable Home Base for fun at the coast
Kind and helpful staff. We’d bought some records at local shop The Lonely Crab and they let us take one of their loaner record players to our room to try them out. The bed was comfortable, we didn’t really hear neighbors but you do hear street/car noise since they are located right downtown. Fantastic home base for vintage shopping, walking down to the water, and 300 feet away from a great Tiki bar called Dead Man’s Isle.

Only issues were lack of tv and allocated parking. Need to pay attention to local parking as some is 3hrs stay, but a block over is free parking. Lack of tv, but great kitchen facilities.

This place is in a great location, has a great staff with plenty of parking around. Fort George brewery next door is a plus as are the local food trucks. Don't let the shared bathroom thing bother you. They smartly have separate bathrooms and showers. I've stayed multiple times with no problem.

Norblad hotel stay
This "hotel" is more of a hostel. Very nice, helpful staff. The building is quite old but is well kept and very clean. My fault I didn't read everything about the hotel and was expecting a shared bathroom and shower. It was all good though, like I said, the staff made a big difference. Although I wouldn't stay there again I highly recommend it for people that are OK with sharing a bathroom and shower.
