Norblad Hotel is in a perfect location. Many restaurants, shops, pubs, and museums are all within walking distance. The hotel itself is warm and inviting and our room was gorgeous. We will definitely stay here again.

Walkable Home Base for fun at the coast
Kind and helpful staff. We’d bought some records at local shop The Lonely Crab and they let us take one of their loaner record players to our room to try them out. The bed was comfortable, we didn’t really hear neighbors but you do hear street/car noise since they are located right downtown. Fantastic home base for vintage shopping, walking down to the water, and 300 feet away from a great Tiki bar called Dead Man’s Isle.

Only issues were lack of tv and allocated parking. Need to pay attention to local parking as some is 3hrs stay, but a block over is free parking. Lack of tv, but great kitchen facilities.

This place is in a great location, has a great staff with plenty of parking around. Fort George brewery next door is a plus as are the local food trucks. Don't let the shared bathroom thing bother you. They smartly have separate bathrooms and showers. I've stayed multiple times with no problem.

Norblad hotel stay
This "hotel" is more of a hostel. Very nice, helpful staff. The building is quite old but is well kept and very clean. My fault I didn't read everything about the hotel and was expecting a shared bathroom and shower. It was all good though, like I said, the staff made a big difference. Although I wouldn't stay there again I highly recommend it for people that are OK with sharing a bathroom and shower.

Great location. Front desk everything and morning were great. Room very clean. Good price. Shared bathroom and shower worked really good and very clean. Only issue is front desk at check in should have told everyone the walls are very thin and try to respect others.

Perfectly located in Astoria town. Very nice food and bar options a stones throw away. The staff were very friendly upon check in and check out. The common area lobby was nicely decorated. You could definitely chill there and they have free hot chocolate available. Highly recommend!

The staff went over and above to make the property really cool. A fireplace in the common area with an assortment of records you could listen to in your room, complimentary hot chocolate and coffee each morning in the common area, bath robes to wear to the shower room, and a kitchen stocked with what you might need to make yourself some breakfast, along with a fridge for you to store your leftovers from supper out. We also appreciated the little fan in our room.

A pleasurable stay
I was visiting as a solo traveler for a wedding. I have a cabin room so used the shared facilities, there’s were all exceptionally clean and well maintained. My room was comfortable, and did what I needed. The vibe of the hotel was very cool and the staff were incredibly friendly. I had a car, there is street parking a clock or 2 away, it’s nicely located near cafes, bars and breweries.
