Staff was kind. The room could have been cleaned a bit better there was some stuff smeared on the wall, and the room was a bit outdated. However for the price it’s understandable. Ocean view was amazing! Bed was comfy and clean. I liked that the beach was right there and it’s a great beach. The stairs are def a journey tho so be prepared.
Like a lot of hotels in the area it’s an older hotel but well kept. It was perfect for our one night stay. The stairs to the beach are pretty significant which was fine for us but just as an FYI. The tide pools are just off to the side, perfect exploring for kids. Staff was great.

🌊 "A Room with a View... and Some Wild Reviews!" 🦁🌴
Stayed at this coastal spot recently and wow — talk about Pacific views! The ocean scenery was absolutely shore-thing spectacular. I could’ve stared at that horizon for hours.
The room itself was... well, let’s call it “rustic chic meets mild concern.” The front door had bite marks so intense, I wasn’t sure if the previous guest had a nervous breakdown or if a werewolf checked out late. 🐺
As for the upstairs neighbors? I’m convinced they were filming a live-action reboot of Jumanji. Every step echoed like a stampede of jungle animals. I half-expected Robin Williams to burst through the ceiling yelling “RUNNNN!”
The hot tub? Massive. Like, bring-your-cousins-and-their-kids massive. But when the water started spilling over the edges, I legit thought we were about to trigger a jacuzzi-induced landslide into the Pacific. Hot tub? More like Hot Risk Adventure™.
Overall? 3.5 stars. Great view, decent stay… just maybe pack earplugs and holy water for the door. 🌊😂
The hotel has great ocean views, rooms are clean, staff is friendly.
I is getting a little old and showing its age but the price is right.
I has beach access but we’re talking a hundred + steps to get down to the beach.
It was OK, but what I like the most which made it worth wild was the outdoor Jacuzzi and the pool was really good not too hot not too cold just perfect
This property is absolutely horrible. Right down to the staff! The only thing good about it is the view of the ocean! It’s 100% needs to be updated! When we entered our room, it really smelled horrible of dog pee! I did not complain as I was told they were at full capacity and I assumed we would not be able to switch rooms. I had my little 8 pound dog with me that is potty trained and does not bark. When we got home after two nights, I noticed that I got a charge for $100 on my credit card. I called and was advised that there was a huge dog pee spot or wet spot on the carpet and therefore I was charged this hundred dollars.
Keep in mind this room smelled horrible of dog pee already, and my dog did not have one single accident in there. My gut tells me this is some sort of thing that this place does for extra income. I talked to the housekeeper and she also went along with the front desk, lady and her story in all my years of travel. I’ve never had this happen to me and I am blown away that they made the story up. The carpet needed to be replaced years ago. I have pictures I would definitely not stay in room 223. I will never ever stay here and I will never ever recommend it to anyone again. We were also charged probably double the price for Memorial weekend. I would say the room is worth about $75 a night and we were charged $220 a night.
great view. very friendly staff. toilet clogged rather easily,
.staff gave me plunger to fix it myself, which I did. It was a bit over priced even for holiday weekend
