The good: staff were great. Room was clean. Lobby was welcoming. Coffee in lobby was good. Pool and hot tub were relaxing. Not so good: Room was HOT. Opened window but room was next to the elevator and had a fair share of loud intoxicated guests going in and out so had to close it. Bed was hard as a rock. “Adjoining room” had a yappy dog that barked at every little noise. Not the motels fault but just added to the no sleep issue. It was a holiday weekend but rate was way too much for the tiniest room I’ve ever stayed in and no sleep.

Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Hotel I made a reservation at this hotel well in advance, but when I arrived after a 4-hour drive, I was told they couldn’t accommodate me. I arrived 2 hours before the scheduled check-in time, and despite this, they refused to let me check in. I decided to leave and come back in 2 hours, only to find that when I returned, they had sold my room to someone else. This is incredibly poor customer service. Not only did I waste my time and energy, but I also lost my reservation without any consideration for the inconvenience caused. It’s unacceptable to treat customers like this, especially after making a confirmed booking. I’ll never stay here again and strongly recommend others to be cautious when booking.

This hotel has always been our place to stay. They are undergoing renovations. They gave us a room on the third floor next to the construction, and over the restaurant’s venting fans. We requested a room on the fifth floor on the other side. We asked for housekeeping to change the bed. They did the dishes. It was so disappointing.

The Promenade Inn At It's Best!

The stay was absolutely perfect in every way. It was a beautiful view from our room of the ocean panoramic view as well as the pool. We loved the room, the beds and the kitchen. Everything was clean . Best of all was your front desk help. We first met Paul who is the perfect front desk person who is very helpful , kind and considerate. We also met Bailey who was very incredible as well. To meet Paul would have been a truly special experience in itself... with his wonderful personality but to meet Bailey enhanced our whole stay even more. They both exuded friendliness and kindnesses and went out of their way to serve us. We thank you for hiring this kind of employee.

When we first arrived, we were shocked to find that the property was under construction something we had no prior knowledge of. This was very disappointing, as we were immediately met with noise and disruption. Upon entering our room, we discovered several maintenance issues: the toilet seat was barely attached and nearly falling off, and the kitchen sink faucet was extremely loose and almost coming off. The kitchen was also very poorly stocked there were no cooking utensils, no baking sheet, and minimal essentials to prepare a meal. To make matters worse, the upstairs neighbors were extremely loud, running around their unit late into the night. Despite multiple calls to the front desk, the noise didn’t stop until around 2 a.m., only to start again at 7 a.m. And to top it all off, as we were packing up to leave, my daughter found two toenail clippings clearly from an adult in her bed. That was the final straw. This stay was deeply disappointing and did not meet basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, or comfort.

The view of the beach was amazing, and the front desk staff was very polite—check-in was quick and easy. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so there was some noticeable construction noise at times. Our room was spacious but definitely in need of updates, which they are actively working on. The bathroom sink drain was extremely loud and could use some attention. That said, the location was fantastic—being able to walk to all the nearby shops and restaurants was a huge plus. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and we would definitely stay here again.

When I made reservations I did not know it was under construction until I got a text message email afterwards!! Not happy when I got there I was like what the …?? The room did not look anything like the picture that you guys show online so again they’re under a huge construction. Rooms are the same on the site I paid 168.00 not happy plus The beds were hard. Pillows were not even a pillow n the Pool was dirty.
