This property is going to be AMAZING when they are done with the renovations; however, right now, it isn't worth the money. The location, ocean-view balconies, and access to the promenade (shops, dining, attractions, and the ocean) almost make up for the stale (limon) cleaner scent that permeates the halls, the old dingy carpet, and the constant (it started at 7:30 am) banging as they have the roof (fifth-floor wood-work) replaced. It's fantastic to have the pool, though it's relatively small, open again (it had been closed for years). However, it's so heavily chlorinated that I didn't want to get my hair in it...fine for kids (until 10pm - open 24/7 for adults). Everything at this hotel is still old, but they make great efforts to keep things clean. The owners are making improvements that will transform it into a premier hotel, making it eventually worth the rates they are currently charging. We'll be back! P.S. The young lady at the front desk, with wavy, long hair, did a fantastic job checking in the whole lobby of guests all by herself on a Sunday afternoon!

The best thing about this hotel was the location. We had an ocean view room which was great, but the sliding door was nearly impossible to open. The closet door screeched when it was opened or closed. The exterior was being worked on so we had construction noise from 08:00 am till 5:30pm. The tub/shower had mildew all along the wall. The carpet was dirty and the beds were mediocre. No food available for breakfast and most of the nearby restaurants didn't open till noon. Not worth the nearly $300

Promenade - Bring your white noise apps. The walls are paper thin.. can hear every word the neighbors are saying. Even when they knew we could hear, they kept talking loud. After checking into our room,..a single housekeeping lady tried to barge in ! , then apologized and went away. But in 15 mins two housekeepers came back and the one who spoke a little English apologetically explained they had left sodas in our fridge, wanting to retrieve them .. and, of course, we let them take their dozen bottles that they had stashed there … but so unprofessional. The neighbour passed by at that moment and said they would be quiet. But in the evening we could hear the details of their pizza order and the exchange of cash when it came. Long line of guests who arrived at 4pm check-in (after we did) had to wait 30 minutes or more for their rooms to be ready. Day 2 - keys stopped working and we had to get new ones. They have a fan for aircon, but you might need an extension cord to get it where you want it.

Worst vacation spot i ever stayed at

Tmwhen we got to the room the tile on the kitchenette was broken the bathroom door had a whole in it there was construction going on the building when hotels .com never put that on there website. And the houskeeping would just walk in the room without knocking and the balcony light didnt work tv was told it was 48" but it was clearly 28" and felt filthy in the room

came here super last minute and we were able to get a room right away. super friendly staff! pool and hot-tub were nice and the hotel is right on the beach and the strip. walked everywhere instead of needing to drive and park. we would choose this hotel again.

I know the property is in renovation so noise was ok Pool and Hot tub could have been cleaner Lots of sand and grim on sides around water edge Temp of water in both pool and hot tub very good Even though its in renovation be sure all rooms being rented out and in great condition and not needing small repairs or maintenance ie faucets aerators on faucets drapes hanging doors sticking carpets very dirty. Even though we experienced some of these we will return Staff was very friendly and accomedating

The Promenade Inn has an excellent location, right on the walking promenade strip and overlooking the sand and ocean with our room having a full front view! Our room was beautifully updated with a full and loaded kitchen with gorgeous countertops! Our bathroom also had new countertops and shower walls. The indoor pool and hot tub were fantastic, and overlooked the Promenade and ocean! All the staff were very polite, friendly and responsive. We will definitely stay here again!!

Well, I was attracted by the indoor hot tub and pool. But unfortunately; -there is poor ventilation and therefore it is like a sauna in there. You can’t crack a window or anything. So it made it hard to enjoy the area. It was hard to breathe. Gym unusable! -hot tub temperature was not regulated and burning hot. None of us could use it because it was just too hot. Multiple guests agreed it cause you to faint if you were to actually get in it. Yes, reported to front desk. -So it was feet only. But then you would need to go jump in the pool afterward because the combination of the sauna heat atmosphere and that boiling water was just unbearable.!! -Then they decided to clean the pool early Sunday morning. So we were not even able to try the pool in the early hours for remedy. -Not an enjoyable time because of the fact it was closed all the way until Check!!! So sheeesh that was a waste of amenities. -NO snacks for breakfast in lieu of no continental Brest. WOW! /great staff though! Clean place. Great views The TV remote did not work. So the TV was stuck on one Syfy channel the whole time.front desk came up with another remote and that didn’t work. said he’d be back and never returned. So then we got to watch the cooking channel only for the rest of stay. Also, poor ventilation and no air conditioning in rooms. They do provide a small box fan. You can use that to circulate the humid room. Or you can open a window or your door for fresh air. Cool RM set up tho!

The place was just purchased by someone new & they’re doing big renovations, that said, hopefully the issues we have with it, will be gone soon. Everything is just old, very old. Front desk guy was nice, friendly, helpful. They brought blankets requested very quickly. The beach is beautiful, like the entire coast. Easy access, we had a balcony beach front room and the view/sounds were great. The place was clean, kitchenette was nice. Fireplace was a nice touch. The bad: No AC - it’s humid and a little sticky. Construction, obviously it needs to happen, but there were chunks of roof falling down past us on the balcony. Like if you stuck your head it it would hit you. The hallways smell pretty weird, there are little flies everywhere due to the open air hallways, probably because of the dank smell lol Room was clean- but the TV is about 20 years old- volume didn’t work right, art/valence super old, carpet kinda yucky looking, feet turned black from it really quick, bathroom door was had peeling veneer, trim was peeling. I gave 3 starts because the place is in a great location, it was clean, friendly staff & I know they’re doing improvements.

I realize you’re under new management and you are remodeling. We were in room 302, the view was great but the carpet was so disgusting, I walked around the room barefoot and then got in the shower and bottom of the tub was totally dirty from my fee walking on the carpet. The other thing was I know the construction is suppose to end at the 6:00 pm but the room above us was still being worked on till 12:30 am
