Glad I had a room upstairs; was able to keep the shades open all day. Had great panoramic views of the beach, sunsets and all. Nice, too, to be able to walk everywhere.

The young woman that checked us in was pleasant and helpful. The bathtub/shower faucet was in poor repair. We were unable to direct the water to the shower as the design was unknown to us. The next day, the person on duty did a poor job of explaining how to work it. Disappointing.

I liked the way check in was so smooth. The gal that was at the desk was nice and helpful. The property is just steps away from the sands that put right on the beach! The room was clean and comfortable, with everything you needed. Would recommend the silver sand’s motel in rockaway beach , Oregon !!

I don’t usually write complaints but this was the worst experience I’ve had. The photos online look nothing like the room we got. I requested a room with a kitchenette and did not get this. The heat in the room was broken. The mattress was sitting on rotting wood. There were only 3 pillows on the bed I asked for another pillow and they said they didn’t have any.. would not recommend staying here.

If looking for a beachfront stay with a window to the sea, this is a wonderful choice. Clean, simple, comfortable, roomy with the sight and sound of waves breaking. The staff was kind and responsive too.

It was okay for what you pay for. No AC. Smelled like fish in the rooms. And the front desk person gave me the office vacuum telling me to go vacuum my own room. Then I turned around and walked it back to them as I was going out for the day and then said they would send someone up later. We just wanted the sand out of the room. That was the negative part, otherwise it was okay. And good beach front.
