Stay in Yachats

We spent several days in Yachats after visiting family nearby. Lovely place, right on the coast. Great service from Crystal at the front desk. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Loved the balcony view of the ocean, watching sunsets and whales. Often times we had the expansive beach to ourselves. We loved the games, volleyball, tether-ball & horseshoes in the yard. We were not able to use the pool or hot tub

Silver Surf has a wonderful property with stunning views. The rooms are quite spacious, which was a nice surprise! The couches in the room were very comfortable and they have a massive DVD library to borrow from, which was neat for our kids to see how 'old people' watch movies. Breakfast/coffee in the morning does not start until 8AM and there is only one small urn of coffee, which became quite clogged as the rush of people tried to get their morning coffee. Would be great if there if there 2 urns of coffee and if the coffee portion of breakfast started a bit earlier. Would recommend!

Nothing fancy which was just what we were looking for. Cabin was a good size for our family of 4, location was wonderful right on a big sandy beach. The motel had everything we needed with kind and attentive staff, we appreciated the quiet family feel.
