When we checked in the gentleman at the desk was excellent and very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean except for in back of the toilet which had a little mold and could have used a little scrubbing. Was very disappointed with maid service. We did get clean towels the second day of our stay but the maid did not make the bed nor did she vacuum or give us clean glasses. We did not have the do not disturb sign on the door so there is no excuse. Beside that we enjoyed our stay.

Close to the ocean

It had comfortable beds, spacious room. No breakfast, but it has a fridge & microwave. The towels are pretty gray. It looks like they need to be replaced. The parking area very convenient.

I knew this was a motel so wasn’t expecting anything fancy. But my stay was not pleasant for the following reasons: I was on the first floor and the people above me were shouting and sounded like they were doing military drills, stomping back and forth endlessly. I called the front desk both nights, and to their credit they immediately said they’d call them. It worked the first night, but didn’t the second night. The floors squesk and walls are thin. - there was zero counter space by the sink. - the bathtub had a dirty look - the bath soap was so thin and cheap it broke apart when I tried to use it - it is a two story that is lined up sideways on a hill

Low price for high rating (self-rated, I suppose) Office mistakenly issued a 2nd key to my room and another couple burst in without knocking. Not their error. Cancelled 2nd night since my wife was more than rattled. Truckers, large tractors, thin walls, loud televisions. the 8.8 rating is double what would be appropriate: 4.4

It’s not really ocean front as in you don’t have access to the ocean. Have to drive to another location to actually get beach access. Our room was dirty - toilet paper inside the toilet when we arrived and used coffee filter inside the coffee maker from previous guest. But if you need a cheap room in a good location it’s manageable.

Not worth the money.

We got this room because, we operate a food truck and had a two day event we were working. First off I have stayed at very many differant hotels flea bag hotels to high end suites. I made the reservation and was told I would not have to pay until arrival. Come to find out they ran my card almost four hours early. Second comes the shower head that is so short it was lower than my neck. My wife who is barley 5 foot didnt even fit under the shower head. Very disappointed as after a sweaty hard days work. There is nothing like a hot shower. Then we get to the beds. Well they were disappointing and very uncomfortable. Couldn't get much sleep and woke up hurting more than when I went to bed. Won't be recommending this to anyone I deal with at the many events I attend. Spend the extra few bucks and get the little bit better hotel. I also got called the next day to verify if I had a reservation or not even though I was already checked in.

Poor construction.

Ceilings are then. Hear every footstep from upstairs group late at night and starting at 5:30 am. Every step made my ceiling creak. Woke me up and prevented further sleep. Not my plan!
