The views were spectacular, the room was great. As an elderly person, i would definitely ask for an upper level room, the stairs for us were a lot. We had a balcony, was so beautiful to sit and enjoy the view.

The hotel was clean and in a very nice area for the town. However, there is a refrigerator in the room that constantly made noise as if there was a machine working nearby. Also, the shower when started, made a horrible whistling sound throughout the whole time a person takes shower, and since the walls were paper-thin, one can hear the neighbors taking shower at 6:30 am as well which easily can wake you up. :( Some of the furniture has stains and was old, needs to be replaced. For the price, it could be better. But it was clean and the room had a nice view.

I was disappointed. There was paint dripped on front of bathroom cabinet. The view was beautiful but stairs were so sketchy was no way. The bed way too soft. Great water pressure and temperature. I just expected more for what I was paying! Staff super sweet lobby and grounds really clean. No riff raff hanging around!

The hotel is split into several buildings. We were in the detached building on thebother side if road on the beach side. It was just a little frustrating to find!.. lol. But the views were amazing! Beds were not very comfy, just on typical metal matress frames that are easy to shift. The room looked clean but the floors were dirty from sand and moisture. The room looked updated and kinda modern. Breakfast was packaged stuff!. Not very healthy in my opinion. Kinda cheap.

We accidentally thought we booked with another hotel, but we are sure glad we did end up at the Sunset. Its was VERY comfortable, roomy, and the ocean view was spectacular. Highly recommended.

The location was nice. It was close to the beach and ocean and had a great view. The staff were friendly. There was a ramp to get luggage to the 2nd floor which was nice. The room we got was very outdated though. The smell was terrible. It smelled like it used to be a smoking room. It was by far the worst room we stayed in during our 2 week vacation to Oregon.

My room needed major uodating, stains on carpet, no seal around exterior door so very drafty, could see the light from the adjacent room around the adjoining door, paper thin walls. Staff when checking in were not so friendly. They would not help me out when I needed a simple boost when my car battery was drained in the morning, I had to ask other guests to help me out. Complimentary breakfast was subpar.

The building is very dated, but inside the rooms the furniture and beds are newer and good and the staff is wonderful - so helpful and friendly. The location is right across from the ocean and easy walking distance to "Circles in the Sand". There is a good restaurant also walking distance, but you would need to drive to the tourist/downtown area.

Beach loop drive is walkable to beach. Mattresses could use update to firm with a pillow top. 2 nights was all my back could take on the old mattress provided. Motel was clean and great views. Staff was nice.

Bandon pre-golf

Nice clean hotel. The front desk lady struggled with requests and giving accurate directions. She was friendly, just not a good listener. We did love the size of the room. Breakfast was disappointing.

We stayed in one of the smaller duplex type units with an amazing view right above the beach. The room is showing its age just a bit but was comfortable; the floor needed a good scrubbing but that was our only issue. Friendly and helpful staff. Weak breakfast options (basically cereal, bagel or frozen egg burrito). We would stay there again for the amazing setting!

Great family owned beach front motel

This a very nice family owned motel that is well maintained & in a perfect location to explore Bandon, it’s steps from the beach & 10 minutes to the historic waterfront. The staff is very nice & friendly. The continental breakfast is not bad & the indoor pool was good. My only issue was the bed, it was very soft.
