Problematic
The motel appears to cater to a clientele that may be intoxicated. Upon check-in, I was told the sauna was operational, but both saunas were out of order. Additionally, a guest (?) was smoking in one of them. The pool area lacked a lock, and there was someone washing shoes in the hot tub. When I asked for a wine opener, the front desk staff initially searched a single drawer in front of them then declined, though I later found a wine key in the room. The room seemed inadequately cleaned, and there were signs it had not been properly prepared for new guests. At check-in (around 9 PM), I discovered that I had several emails from the hotel advising they had tried to charge me and were not able to. This was accompanied by a questionnaire from hotels.com asking about check in. We were the only paying guests in the entire hotel if the pigeons living on draining deck chairs of the ocean-facing balconies. The indoor pool area had wet chairs and water damage from the ceiling. When I contacted customer service, I was directed to hotels.com sites without resolution. There was also confusion about cleaning services; the check-in flyer stated cleaning is upon request but was surprised by the attempt at maid service. Wanted it next day but no follow-up occurred. On a positive note, the woman working the morning shift was professional, and the bed itself was satisfactory.

It was nice although the steam room and sauna where broken and have been for the past two years kids where in the pool about an hr past what is allowed when we got there there was one person maning the front dest she was more interested in talking to the couple she was checking in and joking around with them than doing her job there was a long line that built up rather quickly took way to long to check in but otherwise had a nice time and we enjoyed our time the room was nice and hot tub was hot

You are paying for the view, that's it
You are paying for the view and nothing else. The carpet in our room had probably not been replaced since 1979. It had dark visible stains and was shredding. That being said it was clean but it looked like you were walking on algae. The fireplace had a timer on it and it wouldn't go past 28 minutes so if you wanted it more than that you kind of constantly get up and turn it back on. The bed was actually horrific. I told my husband the bed actually kind of bites you back. Imagine if you will sleeping on a firm, noisy crib mattress. They had some kind of plastic on it so it made so much noise when you moved. The staff at the front desk was amazing. Her name was Wendy. And housekeeping was great. I won't even get into the service at the Mist because it was non-existent but I'll put that on a review for their page. All in all I wouldn't stay there again. It was clean but it was not comfortable at all.

Another great stay!
We love staying at this location as it’s not too far from restaurants and other fun things to do in Lincoln City. Amazing access to the beach. My only suggestion is they need to upgrde the couch as we could clearly feel the metal braces and it was not comfortable to sit on. The bed is awesome. Love the fireplace and general size of the room.

One of our favorite places to stay! Newly renovated within the last few years and right on the beach! In the spring you can warm up with the fire pits, turn the fireplace on in your room and open the door to listen to the waves. You can stare at the ocean for hours or walk down to the beach and just walk forever.

This hotel was fabulous! Absolutely loved the following: The ocean view, the staff was so helpful, cleanliness of the room and property, fireplace in room, lots of parking, having an elevator, could rent movies on site, dining option on site, great location.
