Black Beach Small Cottage
Pros: Secluded and quiet. Functional Cons: It's basically a tiny house set down in a parking lot with a view of nothing. Fine for one night but would not recommend for anything longer.

The room was not cleaned, old towels were hanging, there was no linen in one of the beds. We booked for 10 people, but there were actually 8 seats. The staff was arrogant, no one helped.The location was close to the beach, 10 minutes walk, but the house was somewhere behind the warehouse.

Hotel South Coast
The beds in this hotel were as hard as rocks. It was the most uncomfortable sleep we had in our life, I mean we couldn't sleep at all. Also the rooms are small and suffocating, with no shampoo, conditioner or lotion. Basically worst experience in a hotel in Iceland.

Extremely clean and friendly. The hot tubs were perfect and the breakfast buffet even allowed for a little to go lunch. My only suggestion would be to add coffee makers in the room.
