The photos look nothing like the property. Staff told us this is the oldest hotel on international drive. Dirty floors and bathroom. Leftover stains that were not mopped

The door of my room didn’t unlatch all the way, so returning to the room it was a struggle to get in. The key cards didn’t work all the time on doors I’m supposed to be able to get into the hotel with. Check in was ridiculous, took forever to get to the desk finally. 2 girls working and one guy just standing around behind them. The room was decent, bathroom definitely needs to be updated.

5 stare price for 2 star quality and experience.
Customer service was really good. Other than that everything else was ok or not so good especially for the nightly rate of over $100. Picture showed rooms way nicers and in better condition then they really were. Beds were small rooms were vary run down and baits rooms were vary dated. The key cards did not work and were vary finicky and the room door was always getting jamed and didn’t open more then half the time. Over all disappointed with the stay and especially for the price I payed.

Worst Hotel in Orlando. DONT BE FOOLED
We ended up checking in it took over an hour to stand in line to get our room. We were placed in what was called the tower building. It was dingy and disgusting the room was dirty and the entire building and leading up to the room was also horrible run down and would not even recommend a one-star to this place. When I tried to call down there was yet another line of people and I was unable to talk to anybody. I called their 1-800 number they were not able to do anything in regards to refunding my room. We had been evacuated from Sarasota and this was at almost 9:00 at night. That we had to find another hotel and so then I had hotels.com call the hotel to try to get my refund they did fortunately get a hold of somebody. But they said because I didn't speak to them directly that they would not issue a refund. I called even that assistant manager to try to get a refund and never heard back from them either. My son and I were exhausted and had already spent hundreds of dollars staying in Orlando from the floods and no electricity. This was a horrible experience I would not recommend even going to this hotel if you were homeless. It was an example of the worst hotel that we've ever been to. It was absolutely the worst and lacked in any professionalism. I will continue to pursue getting my money back as we unfortunately had to spend a tremendous amount being evacuated. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

The is was the worst stay I have ever had at a hotel! Rude front desk, floors were nasty, security was rude, keys don’t work from 1230am to 2am, I checked in at 115, was not told until I got to my room and the keys didn’t work, had to go all the way back to front desk, it’s a large resort and a long walk after a long flight, then has to wait 20 more minutes for security to FINALLY waddle to my room so I could get in! The concierge is fantastic though she is very kind and very sweet! The pictures listed on the website when you book this hotel are completely misleading and deceptive the hotel looks nothing like the pictures nothing! We will never stay at an Avanti affiliated hotel ever again! A refund would be nice, but that wouldn’t even make it better.

We have stayed at Avanti a fee times now and will stay here again in the future. Good location on International Drive, close to many restaurants and right down the road from Universal. The hotel is currently having all the doors removed and replaced so its pretty noisy during the day with all the construction. The rooms are large, beds are a but hard but surprisingly comfortable. Another family vacation with lots of great memories.

The pool area was very nice. However the room and hallways were dirty and run down. The shower curtain had rips In it. Cracks in the tub and missing caulking and paint in bathroom. Vinyl floors chipped and sliding out of place. The service was excellent and we got extra towels . The food in the market and alcohol was EXTREMELY expensive… two ice pops for kids was $14. Ok for someone on a tight budget but don’t plan to buy food and drinks there…

Horrible check in experience !! Chevelle was in the middle of checking us in and Brandi came over to complain about 2 customers who wanted a refund and was yapping on for a whole 5 mins and said how another employee left because she didn’t wanna deal with it and now it’s in her hands. After I submitted my payment Chevelle left and went over to the 2 ladies who were complaining with Brandi and left us there waiting with a line full of people waiting to be helped. I don’t understand why she couldn’t finish checking us in first or at least have someone else help us ; instead of 2 people repeating the same thing over and over again to these ladies. After my husband spoke up and ask if she can finish helping us first since we’ve been patiently waiting for so long , Brandi came over and demanded that my payment didn’t “clear” when in fact it did and they charged my card twice !! Chevelle came over and I had to show her my bank statement and said that it did go through … twice ! Then she relooked and said that it did and the other charge will just reverse! That wouldn’t have happened if she had finished taking care of us first !! These staffs clearly did not want to show up for work today and are super unprofessional. Completely inconsiderate of other peoples time and clearly lack problem solving skills. Also , ALL these rooms are connected together and the walls are super cheap and thin ! You can hear everything on both sides of the walls !! This place is a HOAX

Don’t stay here
The room was outdated. Tiles coming up in the bathroom floor and the bathroom wasn’t very clean in general. Our air conditioning didn’t work. Our toilet continuously flushed. (We fixed the flushing problem but it would just start again) The front desk didn’t offer anything but a “sorry thanks for letting us know” so we ended up checking out in the middle of the night because our from was so hot we couldn’t sleep.
