Room is just a standard room at any average motel. You don’t get a room in the tower as shown in picture. I stayed in a two story average motel with exterior doors. Door deadbolt did not lock as the strike plate was out of alignment with one loose screw holding the whole plate in. Shower was a slow drain so when you take a shower it’s up to your ankles. Plus let’s no talk about a friendly gecko peeping in on you while taking a shower. True story! With having to pay 36.09 for parking also makes this place by far not worth the stay.

There was a cockroach in our room and staff was not helpful in trying to clean the room or book us a new one, no cold water only hot. No options for breakfast, hotel is very outdated.

When we checked in the host had issues finding our reservation. Not sure what happened but it took them awhile to find it in the system. When we finally got to the room we discovered they had given us the wrong keys. We had to walk all the way back to the lobby to get the correct keys. Once we actually got into the room, I discovered the toilet was clogged with toilet paper. We tried calling the hotel front desk using the in room phone but the phone did not work. So we walked back to the front lobby and they gave us a new key and room and free breakfast vouchers. The new room was comfy but the sink water had a smell to it. Besides that, the staff was very friendly and it was a great location for us only about 8 minutes from epic universe.

Food menus could be a bit better. Most noticeable was the excessive non-recycled waste. No real re-cycling options or attempts to cut down on waste from food supplies. For example, one small pastry item supplied in a large polystyrene disposable box. Everything just slid into a flap box. Lots of plastic, cups, containers and wrapping. Not consistent with the messages given at Sea-World,
