The staff was great and Lobby / dining areas are beautiful, but our room was in need of repair and upgrade. It was musty, with water spots on the ceiling, the inside doors were a little swollen and difficult to close. We did not have bedding available for the pull out sofa but did get it when we asked, and never received hand towels again after the first cleaning- even stopping to ask for them. Just frustrating since it’s not at the standard of what I’m used to at Embassy Suites. We did happen to be there during the hurricane and the staff did a great job of keeping people happy, safe and fed and rooms were cleaned, these comments have nothing to do with the that timing— the condition of the room is what I’m disappointed in.

It's just ok
Hotel was ok. In our room the shower head was broken. Water was spraying all over. The tub was clogged, there were no washcloths in the room. No towel bar in the bathroom, they put the towels in the bedroom closet. Very strange. They didnt put much money into the rooms at all. The courtyard area and breakfast are nice, however.

Outdated and needs repair
Checked in Thurs and out Sat. Pool was being renovated so you could only use part of it. Kids area is in need of cleaning and repairs, several areas don’t work and stuff growing underneath. The “playground” had paint holding the rust together, we were scared to let our son play on it. Our room looked nice when opening the door but things just kept getting worse. Dresser wouldn’t stay shut, drawers kept opening. Our son walked into them a few times. Struggled to find outlets that power cords didn’t fall out of. Sit on couch to watch tv and fall into it, so worn out. Lacked water pressure and no drain’s emptied quickly, may as well taken a bath.
