Anniversary Getaway

Our stay was good. Our room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the view we had, we stayed on the 8th floor overlooking the pool. We enjoyed the convenience of the shops and restaurants located in the same plaza. The decor of the hotel was a little dated. The fees that come with the room are a bit much seeing as the hotel itself doesn’t offer much in terms of a “resort”.

Although there were a few misunderstandings at check-in, the staff remained incredibly polite and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was just what we needed. Will be staying here again for sure.

First person to help us out at the front desk was great and helped us out with storing our luggaeg since our room was not ready yet ( we arrived early) can't say the same about the 2nd person ( female ) with short black hair had a horrible attitude so decided to check in someone else. Our service fees were charged at location plus a deposit. Pool was clean noticed mold and paint bubble by the tub due to water. We were left without a tv for an entire day which was the day we had set to hangout at the hitel due to rain. Tv didnt come back on till 9pm due to "service interruption.

Both the AC and the TV did not work in my room. I booked only one night and used it only to sleep overnight so didn't even bother calling the front desk. The shower was dirty. The AC turned on but would not cool the room at all. The TV turned put gave a message of "no signal" Overall it looks a little run down. The hallways are hot and look old.

Could have been better for what i paid. The hotel was budget friendly at first with it only being $86 but then all the resort fees on top of the room itself made the total come out to be $150 for that I would have stayed at a much better hotel..This one was pretty small and old looking. I had family stay down the road at Vacation Villiage which was the same price and much nicer rooms.

Horrible Experience

Room had roaches, had to change suites. Then housekeeping entered our hotel without our permission while we were gone and stole my jewelry placed on the table. Front desk manager was dismissive. Had to file a police report.

Stay Far Away — Worst Hotel Experience Ever I don’t usually leave reviews, but our experience at the Holiday Inn & Suites Orlando SW - Celebration Area by IHG was beyond unacceptable. From the moment we checked in, it was clear the photos online were incredibly misleading. The room was filthy — so dirty that I didn’t even feel comfortable taking my shoes off on the carpet, and I couldn’t relax in the bed. To make matters worse, the toilet broke within hours of our arrival. After realizing how uncomfortable and unclean the hotel was, we begged Expedia for a refund. Thankfully, they agreed and gave us until 2 PM to check out. But at 2 AM that same night, the front desk staff abruptly kicked us out — despite the agreement with Expedia. We were told we could either pay to stay the rest of the night or leave immediately. No compassion, no apology — just hostility as we gathered our things and were forced out into the night. The entire experience felt like a scam and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Poor service, disgusting rooms, and incredibly unprofessional behavior. Save yourself the stress and book somewhere else.

The beds felt like they were caving in. All rooms appear conjoined so it sucks when you are asleep and are woken up by rude people but that's not their fault people have no manners. The room was no clean. When we were packing we found shoes and trash under the beds that was not ours. The room has an over bearing powder smell that makes you sneeze. The property location is good and bad. It's great because it's bear everything. It's bad because it's damn near impossible to get in and out of the property. The gym shows a bike on the ad but their is no cycles. The hot tub was closed during our stay but advertised by the front desk it was open. Not only do you have to pay a deposit upon check in but you also have a 31 dollar convenience fee, I'm still trying to figure out who it was convenient for. I didn't eat the food so I can't say anything about that. My son loved the pool. I think before charging fees they need to make sure their hotel is worth that kinda service. If you charge a fee have beyond exceptional service. Might as well stay in a higher cost hotel at that point.

The staff was amazing! The property was horrible. Parking lots needs major upgrades, the rooms and overall interior needs major upgrades as well. It was very dusty on the walls to the point where you can see every little dust piece. It had several rusted out spots in the room and around the hotel. The looks that are shown are very deceiving but up close and personal it’s actually not up to par at all.

Breakfast was expensive and it wasn’t better or different than those hotels with free breakfast. Pastries were hard, maybe old. Eggs warm not hot enough. Pictures online are deceiving. So are the pictures of the hotel. It is not that elegant, and should not be charging for a breakfast or at least not that amount.
