It’s decent but won’t be staying there again.
Water pressure in the shower was weak. Not enough towels were given and the ones that were given were stained. AC was not cold enough. Room was very humid. Room was not serviced at all. Phone did not work so I couldn’t even call the front desk for assistance. Getting in contact with them on my personal phone was a nightmare.

Ok.
It was ok. When we arrived, there was mold on the lamp shed. I contacted the front desk and they changed it within 30 minutes. Then, after staying a night, there was a noticeable Stain on the comforter. We didn’t make a big deal because we just “knew” that they would change it when they saw it. We made sure that the stain was on top where you couldn’t miss it. So we went about a planned day. Arriving back, the bed was made and all seemed well until we get in the bed. Instead of changing the comforter, they only flipped it over and we then contacted the front desk immediately. They said that a manager would reach out to us but they never did and only sent someone to replace the comforter. By then, we were ready to go because everything was fine wend and thur. On Friday, it was no longer “family” friendly and were over it because there was a group next to us that was smoking “substances” and we just decided that it wasn’t worth the argument. Not a horrible place but not the best.

Construction happening on buildings that staff didn't mention. Restaurants closed because of occupancy, wasn't mentioned when checking in. Air unit in building 4 needs to be looked at, dust collecting in the room after only a couple of days. Contstruction staff didnt allow paying guests to use elevator before them, that elevator in building 4 was often dirty and we found nails on the floor from the contscruction crew. Used the laundry service and it took 3 hrs to dry clothes, after 2 hrs, had to switch to another unit. When speaking to the manager, it was apparently my job to call a 1-800 number. Eventually they reimbursed my money but had to fight for it. There was dust and spider webs on the recpetion sign at the main desk. The only decent amenity was the pool.

The sheets, linens, and room itself was not clean upon arrival. The sheets had black pieces of dirt and the towels need replacing. The floors had hair on them. Right outside our hotel door there were dirty qtips, garbage and what appeared to be a needle someone used. We went here to celebrate my daughters birthday with two friends and we smelled weed the entire stay and the people in the resort water park were doing unsafe things and no one stopped them.

Elevator did not work half the time, my husband had to walk down 6 flights of stairs with a bad back. I had booked 3 rooms and none of the rooms were stocked with washcloths, apparently when we called and asked about them, they had a shortage. Flooring was coming up in one room, shower handle wouldn’t stay in place for hot water, the ice machine wasn’t working.

This was our first time at the Holiday Inn Resorts and Water Park in Orlando, and while we tried to enjoy our stay, the hotel seriously let us down. Our biggest issue happened at 2 AM when someone started banging on our door like it was an FBI raid, and it was honestly terrifying. I called the front desk right away, and they sent security. But then the banging happened again, and when I called back, they put me on hold while security checked it out. They eventually caught the culprits, but by then, my 3-year-old was awake and screaming from the noise. I couldn’t sleep at all that night because I was so on edge and in fear. When we checked into our room, it wasn’t cleaned properly—there was food on the floor, dirty sheets, and a grimy bathroom. Housekeeping did come quickly to sort it out, which was nice. We spent some time at the water park on Saturday, and at first, the kids could run around freeely and have fun. But shortly there after, things changed, and kids had to line up to get into the play area which made no sense to us. The lifeguard was only letting in five kids at a time, which caused a lot of chaos and some really upset parents. Pool staff needs to come up with a better game plan. We even saw a few parents arguing and fighting over this matter.  As IHG rewards members, we definitely won’t be returning to this resort. Honestly, after that 2 AM incident, I didn’t feel safe at all and even thought about leaving the hotel at 3 AM.

My experience at this hotel was disappointing from the start. Check-in took 30 minutes, as we stood in a long line. The property itself looked nothing like the pictures online. At first, I thought I had entered the wrong address into my GPS, but unfortunately, it was the correct location. The room was in terrible condition—extremely dusty and poorly cleaned. I even took pictures to document it. Since it was my birthday weekend and we were escaping a hurricane, I didn’t want to waste time complaining. However, the issues continued. Early the next morning, we were abruptly woken up by loud banging due to construction in nearby rooms. This started far too early and completely ruined any chance for rest or relaxation. The hotel sent a survey asking about our stay and offered $25 off the room or a $25 credit on the facility. We went to the bar, which only had one overwhelmed bartender trying to serve a crowd. To make matters worse, our credit wasn’t applied correctly, so we had to pay out of pocket. Then, they attempted to authorize another $100 on my husband’s credit card, adding even more frustration. At checkout, we had to wait in line again to make sure we weren’t being wrongly charged. The staff said the extra authorization was a mistake when trying to apply the credit. They refunded the $25, but instead of putting it on my card, it was incorrectly applied to my husband’s card. Overall, this stay was a waste of money. We couldn’t relax due to the construction
