Roaches, roaches, roaches!!!

Cockroaches everywhere! Little German roaches dead on the floor and crawling in our shoes, luggage and bed. The building looks new from the outside but the inside is old, decrepit and dirty. The mattress must be as old as the building and the AC unit was right next to my hear humming loudly all night. Unable to sleep well and was not brave enough to take a shower. Worst hotel/motel I have ever visited - and I've visited hundreds.

If I can give this property a half a star, I would I would not recommend anyone staying here The rooms was disgusting. The first room I walked in. I opened the refrigerator up. It looked old rusted and roach stop crawling out of it. I went down and he sent me to another room hollering that one was way better. It was a little cleaner than the first one, but That night I still saw roaches. Roach infested property is what this is. I was so mad. I prepaid for this property for two weeks and they will not let me get my money back so I had to stay. I went to the store and bought bombs to set off because I don’t live with roaches. I told the guy at the front desk and he said girl do what you Gotta do. They know that property is roach infested and choose to do nothing about it. I would never stay there again never recommend anyone stay there again. People live on the property in those rooms that I didn’t know my room look nothing like the one online. I don’t even wanna post pictures. I was mad. I had to stay there because I had already paid, but I cleaned it thoroughly. I bombed every 3 to 4 days until it was time for me to go. I just don’t understand people who say good things about this place. It was horrible. Every 2 to 3 days my key was stopped working. Had to go back to the office and get a new one. Of course they made up 1001 excuses they don’t clean the rooms but every 14 days didn’t say that online if you want towels or clean sheets, you have to take the old ones down to the

LOVED this place. Hometowne IS a home thanks to its general manager Thomas who is the absolute BEST manager I’ve ever come across in my travels. He’s a WOW! He makes sure your every need is taken care of because he really cares and is so knowledgeable as well. A rare combination in the hotel industry!! This place was so well run because of him! Hometowne treats each person with such respect and the rooms are immaculate, the prices, great, and the whole vibe,just so peaceful and welcoming. Thank you Hometowne for this place you’ve created and for hiring people like Thomas to make sure it stays that way. WILL. BE. BACK!!

Wow it was dirty! The lobby had the desk clerks children camped out plus her friend there were dirty food plates and wrappers on the counter and floors, I tripped over someones shoes on the way in to the lobby. Then the room was dank and dirty after being there a bit we noticed bugs, cockroaches all over in varying stages and size from babies to massive ones. The walls were filthy and the bathtub was stained. I'd very much like to speak to management about this , I have pictures of all of this.

When I got into the room I immediately saw multiple roaches ! There was a dead one on the floor right when you walked in, one crawling across the wall and multiple on the AC unit. There was also a black powdery substance on the bed and I'm not sure what that was. I immediately called and asked for a refund, and left the property within 15 mins of arriving. The lady at the front desk was nice and did apologize before I left.
