This is one of those old hotels that is clean and adequate. It was exactly what I needed as I had an event in St. Cloud and wanted an easy stay where I could park once and walk to everything. This was perfect. I would stay here again for the same reasons - good price, clean and comfortable for a short stay. Don't miss the Gastro Brunch restaurant next door for the best breakfast. A few nice little retail stores downtown made my trip even more pleasant.

Would not recommend. Space heater for heat. Extremely outdated and very noisy. You can hear people talking in their rooms and everything in the hallway. We found a long black hair on our pillow case.

Clean but noisy
The hotel is historic. It was very clean and the lobby was decorated nicely for Christmas. The staff was friendly and helpful. The noise level was very high though. There is a bar right behind the hotel and people were out in the alley yelling until 3 am both nights. Motorcycles rode up and down the alley all night long. The windows are very old and single pane, so there was no noise barrier.

Loved the Christmas spirit and decor. Rooms are simple and small, but had everything I needed. My biggest issue was no heater in the room. I suppose that the majority of the year, if ever, do they need it, but I was told I was there during an odd cold snap. Did not need it during the day for sure, but at night I got cold. I would stay again. Also, they have a bar for aesthetics only, no drinks. That was ok, the American Legion was right around the corner and a few other good places within walking distance.

Tv wouldn’t work correctly. Came to fixit twice. Hole in the wall. Roach in the tub. Stains in the tub. Water takes about 5 minutes to get warm room 228 ( two night stay. No coffee cups in the hall the morning we left. We deserve some kind of a refund. Last time we staged here was much better.
