Hyatt House is only a year old property. It's well maintained. Very clean inside out. There are security guards 24/7, including at night. It's located near attractions: 5 minutes drive to International Outlet Mall. 10 min drive to Icon Park. Hotel location was near some food restaurants, 5 min walking distance from Mc Donalds, Bahama Breeze, Texas De Brazil, Pollo Tropical, and Taco Bell. 7/11 gas station was the cheapest from the area and well stocked. Front desk staff were very, very nice. I paid the reservation in advance, so my check-in process was done fast. This hotel also welcomes dogs, and that was a plus for us and our 11 year old small pooch. However, I did encounter some small setbacks worth mentioning but not a major factor in lowering this hotel less than 4 stars. Previous to booking, I saw some reviews about clogged bath tubs. I was a little concerned until it happened to me. They quickly changed me to another room, so it was fine. It was just a little stressful to move your older parents and a senior dog to another room at night, 5 hrs after checking in...Just a little frustrating to not have 1 tv work properly for the 1st day...but they have offered to make things right. I honestly just wanted a good hot shower and 9 hrs of sleep. Breakfast was served hot, ready, and on time. Some dispensers on the right were empty, so I don't know if they have seasons where the selection is wider, but potatoes , breads, and pancakes were nice.

The free parking and continental breakfast with a lot of options is a huge plus. Many resorts charge for parking and don't include them in your stay so lots of savings there. The room was very clean and cold upon arrival, I did not need to wait for the room to cool down. Ideal location next to Epic theme park which was the reason we decided to stay here, which took us less than 10 minutes to drive to. We did not use any of the on site amenities but enjoyed this quiet, clean, and updated hotel.

I enjoyed the view of the hotel and the staff service but that’s it. I stayed in room 320 and whenever you would flush the toliet the toliet water would come up in the shower it was disgusting. The pillows felt like rocks and the bed was stiff.

We were in a condo suite that smelled like dog urine. They moved us to another suite that smelled worse. We were moved again to a regular room. After asking, we received reimbursement for one night. But I don’t think we will return to this location for multiple other reasons. I’m sorry.
